Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is a purified, partially depolymerized form of cellulose, consisting of white, odorless, and tasteless crystalline powder composed of porous microparticles. Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is a purified, partially depolymerized cellulose obtained by subjecting alpha-cellulose from fibrous plant materials to hydrolytic degradation, typically with mineral acids like hydrochloric acid. It is a white, odorless, tasteless, crystalline powder that is virtually free from organic and inorganic contaminants. MCC is highly crystalline, consisting primarily of crystalline aggregates obtained by removing the amorphous regions of cellulose. Key properties include:

Production Process
