Description

METHODANDAPPARATUSFOR DETERMINING COMMON SIGNALCONFIGURATION, TERMINAL, AND NETWORK-SIDE DEVICE [1] This disclosure claims priority to the Chinese patent application with application number 202410403704.7, titled “METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING COMMON SIGNAL CONFIGURATION, TERMINAL, AND NETWORK-SIDE DEVICE”, filed with the China National Intellectual Property Administration on April 3, 2024, and the Chinese patent application with application number 202410578145.3, titled “METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING COMMON SIGNAL CONFIGURATION, TERMINAL, AND NETWORK-SIDE DEVICE”, filed with the China National Intellectual Property Administration on May 10, 2024, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference. TECHNICAL FIELD[2] The present disclosure relates to the field of wireless technology, and in particular, to a method and apparatus for determining common signal configuration, a terminal and a network-side device. BACKGROUND[3] In a New Radio (NR) system of related technologies, a base station needs to periodically transmit / receive common signals to ensure the normal operation of terminals under network coverage. Such common signals include a Synchronization Signal and Physical Broadcast Channel (PBCH) block (SSB), Paging Downlink Control Information (DCI), and a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) signal, etc.[4] Currently, a network side can only notify a terminal in a Radio Resource Control IDLE (RRC_IDLE) state or INACTIVE state about changes in common signal related configurations through a Broadcast Control Channel (BCCH) modification mechanism. Since the network side needs to send a paging DCI to all User Equipment (UE) and send system information scheduling signaling, the signaling overhead required for changing common signal related configurations through the BCCH modification process is very large. On the other hand, since the network side can only apply the updated common signal configuration in the next modification period, the update delay required by this method is also relatively large.[5] For a terminal in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) CONNECTED (RRC_CONNECTED) state, the network needs to indicate the updated common signal time-domain information to the terminal through RRC signaling. This method requires a relatively large application delay and cannot complete the adaptation of the common signal configuration in a timely manner. SUMMARY[6] The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a method and apparatus for determining common signal configuration, a terminal and a network-side device, to solve the problem in related technologies that the configuration update application delay of common signals is large, making it impossible to adaptively adjust the time-domain configuration of common signals in a timely manner.[7] An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for determining a configuration of a common signal, performed by a terminal, the method comprising:[8] obtaining first downlink control information (DCI) sent by a network-side device, wherein the first DCI includes a first information field, and the first information field includes a first sub-information field and / or a second sub-information field; wherein the first sub-information field is used for indicating at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal; the second sub-information field is used for indicating an activation state of the first configuration;[9] determining the configuration of the common signal according to the first information field.

In some network structures, the network device may include a centralized unit (CU) node and a distributed unit (DU) node, which may also be geographically separated.

[57] The network device and the terminal device may each use one or more antennas for Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) transmission. MIMO transmission may be Single User MIMO (SU-MIMO) or Multiple User MIMO (MU-MIMO). Depending on the form and number of antenna combinations, MIMO transmission may be 2 Dimension MIMO (2D-MIMO), 3 Dimension MIMO (3D-MIMO), Full Dimension MIMO (FD-MIMO), or massive-MIMO. It may also be diversity transmission, precoding transmission, or beamforming transmission.

[58] The contents involved in the solution provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure are first introduced below.

[59] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the mentioned common signal includes one or more of the following:

[60] a synchronization signal block (SSB);

[61] a physical random access channel (PRACH) signal; or

[62] a paging signal or paging downlink control information.

[63] The base station needs to periodically transmit / receive common signals to ensure the normal operation of the terminal under network coverage. At the same time, when such common signals are transmitted / received with a shorter period, it may affect the base station entering a sleep state, which is not conducive to the energy saving on the base station side.

[64] In related technologies, the SSB period configuration method is: after the terminal obtains the SSB through cell search, the terminal obtains the Master Information Block (MIB) parameters and System Information Blocks1 (SIB1) reception configuration information based on the Physical Broadcast Channel (PBCH) in the SSB, then monitors the DCI 1_0 scrambled by the System Information-Radio Network Temporary Identity (SI-RNTI) based on the SIB1 reception configuration, and then obtains the SIB1 parameter information.

[65] In some embodiments, the terminal obtains the actual period of the SSB through SSB Periodicity Serving Cell ssb-PeriodicityServingCell in SIB1. In some standards, the candidate values of ssb-PeriodicityServingCell include 5ms, 10ms, 20ms, 40ms, 80ms, and 160ms. Because the terminal assumes that the default SSB period is 20ms during the cell search process, usually the SSB period supporting cell search is 20ms. Currently, simulation results show that extending the SSB to 40ms, 80ms, or 160ms may have varying degrees of network energy saving gain.

[66] Regarding the PRACH period configuration, for a UE in an RRC idle RRC_IDLE state or INACTIVE state, the time-domain position of PRACH resources can be configured through the PRACH configuration index (prach-Configuration Index) in SIB1. The period of the radio frame in which the PRACH resources are located is 10ms, 20ms, 40ms, or 80ms. For a UE in an RRC connected RRC_CONNECTED state, the time-domain position of PRACH resources can be configured through the higher-layer parameter prach-ConfigurationIndex or msgA-PRACH-ConfigurationIndex.

[67] Regarding the Paging Occasion (PO) resource position, for an RRC_IDLE / INACTIVE UE, the Monitoring Occasion (MO) resource position for the PO is determined according to the broadcast information in SIB1, where the Discontinuous Reception (DRX) period value is the minimum value of the UE specific DRX period configured by higher-layer signaling (RRC signaling and / or core network signaling) and the default DRX period broadcast by the system message, and its unit is a radio frame.

[68] Currently, when the system information in the network changes, the network transmits a short message through DCI format 1_0 scrambled by the Paging Radio Network Temporary Identity (P-RNTI) based on a paging mechanism to notify the terminals in the network. The terminal starts the System Information (SI) acquisition process at the beginning of the next modification period, where the modification period is configured through system information as an integer multiple of the DRX period, and the candidate integer values are {2, 4, 8, 16}. From the physical layer perspective, the SI acquisition process refers to the process of the DCI format 1_0 scrambled by the System Information RNTI (SI-RNTI) instructing the terminal to receive the SIB1 information.

[69] In related technologies, the Cell DTX / DRX mechanism is only applicable to RRC_CONNECTED UEs, i.e., the base station indicates the activation or deactivation of the Cell DTX / DRX configuration through DCI 2-9 and / or higher-layer signaling. A Cell DTX / DRX period includes Cell DTX / DRX on and Cell DTX / DRX off. In the Cell DTX / DRX off state, the cell does not transmit downlink signals / channels other than common signals. That is, in the Cell DTX / DRX off state, the network still transmits common information such as SSB, PRACH, and paging in the legacy manner to reduce the impact on idle / inactive state UEs.

[70] Based on the above, the network side can only notify the RRC_IDLE / INACTIVE state terminal that the common signal related configuration has changed through the BCCH modification mechanism; for the RRC_CONNECTED state terminal, the network needs to indicate the updated common signal time-domain information to the terminal through RRC signaling. Both of the above methods have the problem that the configuration update application delay of common signals is large, making it impossible to adaptively adjust the time-domain configuration of common signals in a timely manner.

[71] To solve this technical problem, an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for determining a configuration of a common signal. The network-side device sends a first DCI to the terminal, where the first DCI includes a first information field, and dynamically indicates to the terminal at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal, and / or the activation state of the first configuration, so that the terminal can determine the configuration of the common signal according to the first DCI and apply the first configuration indicated by the first DCI, quickly obtaining adaptively adjusted time-domain positions of the common signal, and solving the problem in related technologies that the configuration update application delay of common signals is large, making it impossible to adaptively adjust the time-domain configuration of common signals in a timely manner.

[72] FIG. 2 is a flowchart of a method for determining a configuration of a common signal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The determining method of this embodiment is performed by a terminal, and includes:

[73] S210, obtaining first downlink control information (DCI) sent by a network-side device, where the first DCI includes a first information field, and the first information field includes a first sub-information field and / or a second sub-information field; where the first sub-information field is used for indicating at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal; the second sub-information field is used for indicating an activation state of the first configuration;

[74] S220, determining the configuration of the common signal according to the first information field.

[75] Using the determining method according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, by dynamically indicating to the terminal at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal, and / or the activation state of the first configuration, the terminal can determine the configuration of the common signal according to the first DCI and apply the first configuration indicated by the first DCI, quickly obtaining adaptively adjusted time-domain positions of the common signal, and solving the problem in related technologies that the configuration update application delay of common signals is large, making it impossible to adaptively adjust the time-domain configuration of common signals in a timely manner.

[76] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the mentioned terminal may be any one of an RRC_IDLE / INACTIVE terminal and an RRC_CONNECTED terminal.

[77] In some embodiments, the determining method according to the embodiments of the present disclosure further includes:

[78] obtaining multiple configurations of the common signal sent by the network-side device, where the first configuration is at least one of the multiple configurations.

[79] In some embodiments, the multiple configurations of the common signal may correspond to different energy saving states respectively. According to this implementation, the network-side device sends the first DCI to the terminal, and indicates at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal and / or the corresponding activation state through the first information field. In this way, the first DCI can indicate first configurations of different energy saving states, allowing the terminal’s common signal to switch between different energy saving configurations, enabling the terminal to enter an energy saving state in a simpler and faster manner, achieving the effect of reducing the power consumption of the network device.

[80] In some embodiments, the first DCI includes one or more of the following:

[81] DCI format 1_0 scrambled by a paging radio network temporary identifier (P-RNTI);

[82] DCI format 2_7;

[83] DCI format 2_9; or

[84] a predetermined DCI.

[85] In some embodiments, the predetermined DCI may be a DCI obtained by scrambling a first format DCI with a predetermined RNTI, where the predetermined RNTI may be an RNTI in a normal standard or a new RNTI different from the normal standard; the first format DCI may be a DCI of a normal standard format or a DCI of a new format different from the normal standard.

[86] In some embodiments, the first information field is an information field added in the first DCI; or

[87] a preset bit of a short message field in the first DCI is the first information field; or

[88] in a case that a short message indicator field in the first DCI is “00”, a predetermined information field in the first DCI is the first information field, and the predetermined information field is any information field in the first DCI; or

[89] in a case that a short message indicator field in the first DCI is “00”, the first information field is any information field in the first DCI, and information fields other than the first information field in the first DCI are reserved information fields; or

[90] in a case that a short message indicator field in the first DCI is “01”, a short message field in the first DCI is the first information field; or

[91] in a case that a short message indicator field in the first DCI is “10”, an information field in the first DCI other than the short message field is the first information field; or

[92] the first DCI includes at least one information block, each information block corresponds to one cell, and each information block respectively includes the first information field, used for indicating the first configuration of the common signal in the corresponding cell and / or the activation state of the first configuration.

[93] In an implementation, the first DCI includes DCI format 1_0 scrambled by a paging radio network temporary identifier (P-RNTI). According to this implementation, by reusing the paging DCI in related technologies, i.e., the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0, the first information field is sent to indicate at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal, and / or to indicate the activation state of the first configuration.

[94] In some embodiments, in this implementation, the indication manner of the first information field in the first DCI may be at least one of the following:

[95] Manner 1-1: the first information field is an information field added in the first DCI, for example, an information field is added to the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0 as the first information field. According to this implementation, when the number of bits of the first information field is M1, the number of bits for effectively indicating a Tracking Reference Signal (TRS) indicated by the first DCI is M, and the first DCI is used in a licensed band, the number of reserved bits in the first DCI is the value obtained by calculating 8-M1-M; when the first DCI is used in an unlicensed band, the number of reserved bits in the first DCI is the value obtained by calculating 6-M1-M.

[96] Manner 1-2: in a case that a short message indicator field in the first DCI is “00”, a predetermined information field in the first DCI is the first information field, and the predetermined information field is any information field in the first DCI.

[97] For example, when the first DCI is P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0, when the bit field of the Short Messages Indicator in the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0 is ‘00’, the predetermined information field in the first DCI is determined as the first information field, used for indicating at least one set of first configurations and / or the activation state of the first configuration; in some embodiments, the predetermined information field is any information field in the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0. For example, the predetermined information field may be any information field such as the short message field, frequency domain assignment indicator field, time domain assignment indicator field, Virtual Resource Block (VRB) to Physical Resource Block (PRB) mapping (VRB-to-PRB mapping), and Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS) in the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0.

[98] Manner 1-3: in a case that a short message indicator field in the first DCI is “00”, the first information field is any information field in the first DCI, and information fields other than the first information field in the first DCI are reserved information fields.

[99] For example, when the first DCI is P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0, when the bit field of the Short Messages Indicator in the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0 is ‘00’, any information field in the first DCI may be determined as the first information field, used for indicating at least one set of first configurations and / or the activation state of the first configuration, and remaining information fields other than the first information field in the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0 are reserved information fields. According to this implementation, when the number of bits of the first information field is M1, and the terminal calculates the number of bits of DCI format 1_0 as DCI 1_0 size, the number of bits of the reserved information fields is the value obtained by calculating DCI 1_0 size-M1.

[100] According to this implementation, the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0 is defined as signaling for indicating the first information field, i.e., signaling for indicating adaptive adjustment of the common signal.

[101] Manner 1-4: in a case that a short message indicator field in the first DCI is “01”, a short message field in the first DCI is the first information field;

[102] For example, when the first DCI is P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0, when the bit field of the Short Messages Indicator in the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0 is ‘01’, the short message field is used as the first information field, used for indicating at least one set of first configurations and / or the activation state of the first configuration, for adaptive adjustment of the common signal.

[103] Manner 1-5: in a case that a short message indicator field in the first DCI is “10”, an information field in the first DCI other than the short message field is the first information field.

[104] For example, when the first DCI is P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0, when the bit field of the Short Messages Indicator in the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0 is ‘10’, an information field other than the short message field in the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0 is determined as the first information field. For example, the information field (the first information field) may be any information field such as the frequency domain assignment indicator field, time domain assignment indicator field, VRB-to-PRB mapping, and MCS in the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0.

[105] Manner 1-6: a preset bit of a short message field in the first DCI is the first information field.

[106] For example, when the first DCI is P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0, bits 5-8 in the short message field of the P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0 are used for indicating the first information field for adaptive adjustment of the terminal’s common channel.

[107] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the above indication manners 1-1 to 1-6 of the first information field in the first DCI can be applied to an RRC_IDLE / INACTIVE state terminal and an RRC_CONNECTED state terminal configured with paging DCI blind monitoring.

[108] In another implementation of the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the first DCI is DCI format 2_7, in which the first information field is introduced for indicating at least one set of first configurations and / or the activation state of the first configuration for adaptive adjustment of the terminal’s common signal.

[109] In this implementation, the indication manner of introducing the first information field through DCI format 2_7 can be applied to an RRC_IDLE / INACTIVE state UE or a terminal capable of monitoring DCI format 2_7.

[110] In another implementation of the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the first DCI is a predetermined DCI, which may be a DCI obtained by scrambling a first format DCI with a predetermined RNTI, where the predetermined RNTI may be an RNTI in a normal standard or a new RNTI different from the normal standard; the first format DCI may be a DCI of a normal standard format or a DCI of a new format different from the normal standard.

[111] According to this implementation, the first DCI may be a new DCI format scrambled by a new RNTI or by an RNTI in related technologies, and M1 bits in the first DCI are used as the first information field for indicating at least one set of first configurations and / or the activation state of the first configuration for adaptive adjustment of the terminal’s common signal.

[112] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the manner of indicating the first information field through a predetermined DCI can be applied to an RRC_IDLE / INACTIVE state terminal and an RRC_CONNECTED state terminal configured with paging DCI blind monitoring.

[113] In another implementation of the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the first DCI is DCI format 2_9, or a DCI format similar to DCI format 2_9 being introduced. According to this implementation, the first DCI may include at least one information block, each information block corresponds to one cell, and each information block respectively includes the first information field, used for indicating the first configuration of the common signal in the corresponding cell and / or the activation state of the first configuration.

[114] According to this implementation, the first DCI can indicate the first information field corresponding to one or more cells having NES capability, and adaptive adjustment of the common signal on the corresponding cell is achieved through the indication of the first information field.

[115] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the manner of indicating the first information field through DCI format 2_9 can be applied to an RRC_CONNECTED state UE in a CA scenario.

[116] It should be noted that, in the embodiments of the present disclosure, the above-listed indication manners of the first information field in the first DCI are only examples, and are not limited thereto.

[117] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, in step S220, determining the configuration of the common signal according to the first information field includes one or more of the following:

[118] in a case that the first information field includes the first sub-information field, determining that the configuration of the common signal is the first configuration;

[119] in a case that the first information field includes the second sub-information field, and the second sub-information field indicates that the activation state is active, determining that the configuration of the common signal is the first configuration; or

[120] in a case that the first information field includes the second sub-information field, and the second sub-information field indicates that the activation state is inactive, determining that the configuration of the common signal is a pre-obtained second configuration other than the first configuration.

[121] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in an implementation, in some embodiments, the first information field includes the first sub-information field, used for indicating at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal. In a case that the first information field includes the first sub-information field, i.e., the first information field indicates at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal, then it is determined that the configuration of the common signal is the first configuration, and the time-domain position of the common signal is determined according to the first configuration.

[122] In some embodiments, the first sub-information field includes first identification information of the first configuration, and the corresponding first configuration is indicated by the first identification information. For example, when the first sub-information field is M, it indicates that the first configuration corresponding to the first identification information M among the configurations of the common signal is activated. According to this implementation, when the first identification information of the N configurations of the common signal is numbered as 1, 2, ..., N respectively, the first sub-information field may directly indicate the first identification information of the corresponding configuration.

[123] In another implementation of the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the first sub-information field includes second identification information having a first correspondence with the first identification information of the first configuration. In this implementation, the first correspondence is information pre-agreed to represent the relationship between the first identification information and the second identification information. For example, when the first sub-information field is M, it indicates that the first configuration corresponding to the first identification information M-1 among the configurations of the common signal is activated. According to this implementation, when the first identification information of the N configurations of the common signal is numbered as 0, 1, 2, ..., N-1 respectively, the first sub-information field is used to indicate the identifier corresponding to the first identification information of the first configuration + 1.

[124] In this implementation, in some embodiments, the terminal may obtain at least one configuration of the common signal configured by the network-side device through SIB1 or RRC signaling, and different configurations of the common signal correspond to different first identification information. On the basis of obtaining at least one configuration of the common signal configured by the network device through SIB1 or RRC signaling, the terminal obtains the first configuration indicated by the network-side device through the dynamic first DCI, where the first configuration is one of the at least one configuration of the common signal, and when the first sub-information field in the first DCI indicates different first identification information, it corresponds to different first configurations.

[125] In an implementation, in some embodiments, the first information field of the first DCI may include only the first sub-information field. When it includes only the first sub-information field, it is used to indicate activation or application of the first configuration;

[126] In an implementation, in some embodiments, in addition to the first sub-information field, the first information field may also include the second sub-information field, which indicates the activation state of the first configuration. According to the second sub-information field, it can be determined whether to activate or apply the first configuration corresponding to the first identification information indicated by the first sub-information field. When the second sub-information field indicates application or activation of the first configuration, it is determined that the configuration of the common signal is the first configuration; in some embodiments, when the second sub-information field indicates deactivation or non-application of the first configuration, it is determined that the configuration of the common signal is a pre-obtained second configuration other than the first configuration.

[127] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, when the second sub-information field is a first value, it indicates activation or application of the first configuration, and when the second sub-information field is a second value, it indicates deactivation or non-application of the first configuration.

[128] In another implementation of the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the first information field includes the second sub-information field, and in a case that the second sub-information field indicates that the activation state is active, it is determined that the configuration of the common signal is the first configuration.

[129] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the network-side device obtains two configurations of the common signal configured by the network-side device through SIB1 or RRC signaling; in some embodiments, among the obtained two configurations of the common signal, the configuration of the common signal obtained through the SIB1 configuration parameters may be set as the default system common signal configuration (second configuration); the configuration of the common signal obtained through SIB1 or RRC signaling is the first configuration; or, the two configurations of the common signal respectively correspond to different energy saving states. In some embodiments, the terminal may obtain the configuration with the best energy saving state as the first configuration, and determine the other configuration as the second configuration. According to this implementation, the terminal can obtain the first configuration in advance. On this basis, when the network-side device sends the first DCI to the terminal, it may include only the second sub-information field, indicating whether to activate or apply the first configuration.

[130] In some embodiments, in a case that the second sub-information field indicates that the activation state is active, it is determined that the configuration applied to the common signal is the first configuration; in a case that the second sub-information field indicates that the activation state is inactive, it is determined that the configuration applied to the common signal is a pre-obtained second configuration other than the first configuration.

[131] According to the above, in the embodiments of the present disclosure, in a case that the first information field in the first DCI includes only the second sub-information field, the first configuration corresponding to the activation state indicated by the second sub-information field may be a pre-agreed configuration of the common signal or a configuration of the common signal other than the default system common signal configuration.

[132] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the method further comprises:

[134] According to this implementation, in some embodiments, the terminal determines the first identification information of the first configuration indicated by the first DCI according to the first sub-information field. The number of bits of the first identification information is determined by the number N of the obtained configurations of the common signal. In some embodiments, for example, it is , or ; N is an integer greater than or equal to 1.

[135] According to the second sub-information field, the activation state of the first configuration is determined, i.e., it indicates whether to apply the first configuration corresponding to the first identification information indicated by the first sub-information field. In some embodiments, the length of the second sub-information field is 1 bit.

[136] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the first information field may be used to indicate a parameter value having a correspondence with a configuration parameter value of the first configuration. The correspondence between the parameter value of the first information field and the configuration parameter value of the first configuration may be agreed by a protocol. The parameter value indicated by the first information field is used to indicate the configuration parameter value of the first configuration, and is used to instruct the terminal’s common signal to apply or activate the configuration parameter value of the first configuration indicated by the first information field. For example, the parameter value “00” of the first information field corresponds to an SSB period of 20ms, and the parameter value “01” of the first information field corresponds to an SSB period of 40ms. Then, when the parameter value of the first information field is “00”, it indicates that the SSB transmission period applied by the terminal is 20ms, and when the parameter value of the first information field is “01”, it indicates that the SSB transmission period applied by the terminal is 40ms.

[137] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the method further comprises:

[158] According to the above, in the embodiments of the present disclosure, in a case that the first configuration includes a configuration for a downlink common signal, the method further comprises:

[159] determining, according to the configuration for the downlink common signal, time-domain positions for receiving the downlink common signal and / or other downlink signals other than the downlink common signal of the terminal; and / or

[168] In some embodiments, the first period may be a period of the Cell DTX configuration, or a period of the Cell DTX configuration within a predetermined time period.

[169] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the value T of the first period is a value less than or equal to 16 radio frames or 160 subframes;

[173] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, when the configuration parameters of the first configuration include a configuration capable of being used for both a downlink common signal and an uplink common signal, the method further comprises:

[174] obtaining first indication information sent by the network-side device, where the first indication information is used for indicating that the configuration capable of being used for both a downlink common signal and an uplink common signal is one of a configuration for a downlink common signal, a configuration for an uplink common signal, and a configuration for a downlink common signal and an uplink common signal.

[175] In some embodiments, in this implementation, when the configuration parameters of the first configuration include a configuration capable of being used for both a downlink common signal and an uplink common signal, the application type of the parameters of the configuration capable of being used for both a downlink common signal and an uplink common signal can be determined according to the first indication information, and it can be determined according to the first indication information whether the configuration is applied to Cell DTX or Cell DRX or Cell DTX / Cell DRX.

[176] In some embodiments, the first configuration may include any one of the above configuration parameters, or may include at least two of the above configuration parameters. For example, when the first configuration includes the SSB time-domain configuration and the PO configuration parameters, or includes the Cell DTX configuration, the information field in the first DCI is used to indicate applying SSB adjustment according to the first configuration to achieve SSB adaptive adjustment, and / or applying paging adjustment to achieve paging adaptive adjustment, and / or other DL signals.

[177] In some embodiments, in the embodiments of the present disclosure, based on UE capability or network configuration or default mode, the UE has the capability to receive the above various types of configuration parameters, and / or has the capability to receive one or more configurations of each type of configuration. In some embodiments, different configuration parameters in the first configuration can be indicated by different identification numbers corresponding to different configuration parameters.

[178] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in an implementation, in some embodiments, before obtaining the first DCI, the method further comprises:

[179] obtaining second indication information through at least one of system information or a second DCI, or obtaining the second indication information through RRC signaling, where the second indication information is used for indicating an initial state of the first configuration at a first time.

[180] In some embodiments, for a UE in an RRC_IDLE / INACTIVE state, the second indication information may be obtained through at least one of system information or a second DCI; for a UE in an RRC_CONNECTED state, the second indication information may be obtained through RRC signaling.

[181] According to this implementation, before sending the first DCI to the terminal, the network-side device indicates the initial state of the first configuration to the terminal through the second indication information, so that after obtaining the initial state of the first configuration, the terminal can quickly adjust from the initial state to the activated state according to the activation state of the first configuration indicated by the first DCI after obtaining the first DCI.

[182] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the first time is one of the following:

[183] a reception time of the second indication information; or

[184] a reception time of a most recent SSB.

[185] In an implementation, in some embodiments, for a UE in an RRC_IDLE / INACTIVE state that has completed cell search but has not received the first DCI indication, the UE can obtain the second indication information according to the system information or the second DCI indication, and determine the situation of the first configuration applied in the network according to the second indication information.

[186] In some embodiments, the second DCI includes DCI 1_0 scrambled by SI-RNTI.

[187] For example, the UE may determine the first configuration applied in the network and / or the initial state of the first configuration according to the first configuration initial state parameter in SIB1; in some embodiments, the UE may also determine the first configuration applied in the network and / or the initial state of the first configuration according to the first configuration initial state parameter in the DCI scrambled by SI-RNTI.

[188] According to this implementation, after the UE receives the first DCI and determines the first configuration and / or the activation state of the first configuration dynamically indicated by the network side according to the first DCI, if the activation state of the first configuration indicated by the first DCI is different from the initial state of the first configuration indicated by the second indication information in SIB1 or the SI-RNTI scrambled DCI, the UE may apply the first configuration and the corresponding activation state indicated by the first DCI.

[189] For an RRC_CONNECTED UE that has completed initial access or handover to an NES cell and has not received the above dynamic signaling RRC indication, the UE may obtain the initial state of application of the first configuration according to higher-layer signaling, thereby determining the initial state of the first configuration applied in the network.

[190] According to this implementation, after the UE receives the first DCI and determines the first configuration and / or the activation state of the first configuration dynamically indicated by the network side according to the first DCI, if the activation state of the first configuration indicated by the first DCI is different from the initial state of the first configuration indicated by the higher-layer signaling RRC, the UE may apply the first configuration and the corresponding activation state indicated by the dynamic first DCI.

[191] According to the above, in the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the method further comprises:

[192] after obtaining the first DCI, in a case that the activation state of the first configuration indicated by the first information field is different from the initial state of the first configuration indicated by the second indication information, determining that a priority of the activation state is higher than a priority of the initial state.

[193] The method for determining a configuration of a common signal according to the embodiments of the present disclosure is described below with reference to examples.

[194] Embodiment 1

[195] In this Embodiment 1, an NES UE determines a common signal time-domain configuration in the manner that the NES UE determines the SSB transmission period, PRACH transmission occasion, paging occasion and the like according to SIB1 configuration parameters specified in conventional protocols. The common signal time-domain configuration determined by this method is collectively defined as a default system common signal configuration. In some embodiments, it is set that in this default system common signal configuration: the SSB period is 20ms, prach-ConfigurationIndex is 19, and every 2 radio frames is 1 paging frame.

[196] In addition, the terminal may also receive a configuration of a common signal through SIB1 or RRC signaling. The configuration of the common signal obtained by this method may be the first configuration, used for determining the time-domain reception / transmission configuration of the common signal.

[197] According to this implementation, in the embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal obtains the first DCI sent by the network-side device. In some embodiments, the first DCI includes a first information field, used for indicating the activation state of the first configuration, i.e., indicating application or activation of the first configuration for determining the time-domain reception / transmission of the common signal, or indicating non-application or deactivation of the first configuration, i.e., applying the default system common signal configuration (second configuration) to determine the time-domain reception / transmission of the common signal.

[198] The method according to the embodiments of the present disclosure, based on the above implementation, includes the following steps:

[199] Step A: The terminal receives a set of configurations of the common signal, which is the first configuration, for the terminal to perform network-side energy saving based on adaptive adjustment of the common signal. In some embodiments, the first configuration is configured through SIB1 information, where the SIB1 is scheduled by a DCI scrambled by SI-RNTI, and the configuration parameters of the first configuration are different from the configuration parameters of the default system common signal configuration. Examples of the first configuration include but are not limited to the following manners:

[200] Implementation A-1: The first configuration in the SIB1 information includes a configuration capable of being used for both Cell DTX and Cell DRX, i.e., includes Cell DTX / Cell DRX related configuration parameters, for example: a first period T=160ms, a radio frame offset=20ms, a second period T_on=60ms. Based on these configuration parameters, a schematic diagram of the Cell DTX / Cell DRX configuration is shown in FIG. 3.

[201] Case 1: The application type of the Cell DTX / Cell DRX related configuration parameters is ‘Cell DTX and Cell DRX’, i.e., it can be applied to both the Cell DTX configuration and the Cell DRX configuration; under this configuration parameter, the reception / transmission of common signals and UL / DL signals may include the following two cases 1-1 and 1-2:

[202] Case 1-1: As shown in FIG. 3, the UE performs reception / transmission of common signals including SSB reception, PRACH transmission, and paging DCI reception, and other UL / DL signals during T_on. During T_off (i.e., the time within a period excluding T_on), the UE does not perform reception / transmission of common signals and other UL / DL signals.

[203] Case 1-2: As shown in FIG. 3, the UE performs reception / transmission of common signals including SSB reception, PRACH transmission, and paging DCI reception during T_on. During T_off (i.e., the time within a period excluding T_on), the UE performs reception / transmission of common signals.

[204] Case 2: The application type of the Cell DTX / Cell DRX corresponding configuration parameters is ‘Cell DTX’, i.e., it can only be applied to the Cell DTX configuration; it should be noted that this implementation is also applicable to the case where the first configuration includes only the Cell DTX configuration in step of implementation A-1. In these two configuration cases, the reception / transmission of common signals and UL / DL signals may include the following two cases 2-1 and 2-2:

[205] Case 2-1: The UE performs reception of common signals including SSB reception, paging DCI reception, and other DL signals during T_on. During T_off (i.e., the time within a period excluding T_on), the UE does not perform reception of common signals including SSB reception, paging DCI reception, and other DL signals.

[206] Case 2-2: The UE performs reception of common signals including SSB reception and paging DCI reception during T_on. During T_off (i.e., the time within a period excluding T_on), the UE does not perform reception of common signals including SSB reception and paging DCI reception.

[207] Case 3: The application type of the Cell DTX / Cell DRX corresponding configuration parameters is ‘Cell DRX’, i.e., it can only be applied to Cell DRX; it should be noted that this implementation is also applicable to the case where the first configuration includes only the Cell DRX configuration in step of implementation A-1. In these two configuration cases, the reception / transmission of common signals and UL / DL signals may include the following two cases 3-1 and 3-2:

[208] Case 3-1: The UE performs PRACH transmission and transmission of other UL signals during T_on. During T_off (i.e., the time within a period excluding T_on), the UE does not perform PRACH transmission and transmission of other UL signals.

[209] Case 3-2: The UE performs PRACH transmission during T_on. During T_off (i.e., the time within a period excluding T_on), the UE does not perform PRACH transmission.

[210] Implementation A-2: The first configuration in the SIB1 information includes an SSB time-domain configuration, including but not limited to the following configuration manners:

[211] Manner A-2-1: If the SSB is transmitted in a periodic manner, the first configuration includes an SSB transmission period T, for example, T=80ms;

[212] Manner A-2-2: If the SSB is transmitted in a new pattern manner, the first configuration includes an SSB pattern period T, an SSB transmission position offset and number, and / or an SSB period, for example, T=160ms, SSB transmission position offset=0, N_SSB=3, SSB period=20ms, as shown in FIG. 4;

[213] Manner A-2-3: If the SSB is transmitted in a new pattern manner, the first common signal configuration includes an SSB pattern period T, an SSB transmission position bit pattern, and / or an SSB period. For example, T=160ms, SSB period=20ms, the SSB transmission bit pattern has a length of 160 / 20=8 bits, and the bit pattern is [11100000], as shown in FIG. 5.

[214] Manner A-3: The first configuration in the SIB1 information includes a PRACH time-domain configuration, including but not limited to configuring a new prach-ConfigurationIndex, or an additional PRACH time-domain position;

[215] Manner A-4: The first configuration in the SIB1 information includes paging occasion configuration parameters.

[216] Based on any of the above manners, the terminal can obtain the first configuration of the common signal configured by the network-side device. In some embodiments, the network-side device may indicate whether to apply the first configuration to the terminal through the first DCI, so as to achieve adaptive adjustment of the common signal.

[217] Step B: The terminal determines whether to apply the first configuration based on the dynamic indication signaling DCI (the first DCI). That is, in this implementation, the first information field in the first DCI includes the second sub-information field, used for indicating the activation state or application state of the first configuration. One state is to apply or activate the first configuration for performing signal reception and / or transmission, and the other state is to not apply or deactivate the first configuration, i.e., apply the default system configuration for performing signal reception and / or transmission. The indication manner of the dynamic signaling DCI includes but is not limited to the following manners:

[218] Manner B-1: The DCI reuses the paging DCI in related technologies, i.e., P-RNTI scrambled DCI format 1_0, which may include the following several implementations:

[219] Manner B-1-1: A first information field of M bits is introduced in the DCI to indicate whether to apply the first configuration, i.e., the DCI includes the second sub-information field, used for indicating the activation state or application state of the first configuration. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the first information field is preferably M1=1 bit. Reserved bits in the DCI are updated to 8-M1-M bits in a licensed band, and updated to 8-M1-M bits in an unlicensed band.

[220] Manner B-1-2: When the short message indicator in the DCI = ‘00’, a preset information field in the DCI is reused to indicate whether to apply the first configuration, preferably reusing M1 bits in the preset information field, preferably M1=1 bit of information, where the preset information field refers to any indication field in the DCI in related technologies other than the short message indicator field.

[221] Manner B-1-3: When the short message indicator in the DCI = ‘01’, M1 bits of the preset information field in the DCI are reused to indicate whether to apply the first configuration, preferably M1=1 bit of information, where the preset information field refers to the short message field.

[222] Manner B-1-4: When the short message indicator in the DCI = ‘10’, M1 bits of the preset information field in the DCI are reused to indicate whether to apply the first configuration, preferably reusing M1=1 bit of information in the preset information field, where the preset information field refers to any indication field in the DCI in related technologies other than the short message field.

[223] Manner B-1-4: When the short message indicator in the DCI = ‘10’ and / or the short message indicator = ‘11’, preset reserved bits in the short message field are reused to indicate whether to apply the first common signal configuration.

[224] In addition to reusing the paging DCI in related technologies as described above, the indication manner of the DCI may also be as follows:

[225] Manner B-2: The DCI reuses the Paging Early Indication (PEI) in related technologies, i.e., DCI format 2_7;

[226] Manner B-2-1: For example, a first information field of M1 bits is introduced in the DCI to indicate whether to apply the first configuration, preferably M1=1 bit.

[227] Manner B-3: The DCI is a new DCI format scrambled by a new RNTI or by an RNTI in related technologies;

[228] Manner B-3-1: For example, a first information field of M1 bits is introduced in the DCI to indicate whether to apply the first configuration, preferably M1=1 bit.

[229] Manner B-4: DCI 2_9 in related technologies is reused;

[230] Manner B-4-1: For example, a first information field of M1 bits is introduced in the information block corresponding to the serving cell corresponding to the NES cell to indicate whether to apply the first configuration, preferably M1=1 bit.

[231] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the following step C is further included to obtain second indication information, where the second indication information is used for indicating the initial state of the first configuration at a first time:

[232] Step C: The terminal obtains, according to SIB1 and / or RRC signaling, and / or information in the SI-RNTI scrambled DCI 1_0, the initial state of common signal transmission at a first time, or in other words, the initial state of application of the first configuration. One state of this initial state is to apply the first configuration for performing signal reception and / or transmission, and the other state is to not apply the first configuration, i.e., apply the default system configuration (second configuration) for performing signal reception and / or transmission.

[233] Manner C-1: The UE determines, according to a parameter in SIB1, the initial state of application of the first configuration at a first time, where the first time is the SIB1 reception time, or a reception time of a most recent SSB;

[234] Manner C-1-1: When the application state of the first configuration in the cell changes, the base station does not need to perform the BCCH modification process. The terminal in the cell considers that the activation state of the first configuration indicated by the dynamic signaling (the first DCI) has a high priority, which can override the initial application state of the first configuration indicated in SIB1, i.e., it is determined that the priority of the activation state of the first configuration indicated by the first DCI is higher than the priority of the initial state of the first configuration at the first time.

[235] Manner C-2: The UE determines, according to a parameter in RRC, the initial state of application of the first configuration at a first time. In some embodiments, the first time is the RRC signaling reception time, or a reception time of a most recent SSB.

[236] Manner C-2-1: When the application state of the first configuration in the cell changes, the base station does not need to perform the RRC reconfiguration process. The terminal in the cell considers that the application state of the first configuration indicated by the dynamic signaling (the first DCI) has a high priority, which can override the initial application state of the first configuration indicated in RRC, i.e., it is determined that the priority of the activation state of the first configuration indicated by the first DCI is higher than the priority of the initial state of the first configuration at the first time.

[237] Manner C-3: The UE determines, according to an information field in the SI-RNTI scrambled DCI 1_0, the initial state of application of the first configuration at a first time, where the first time is the DCI reception time, or a reception time of a most recent SSB;

[238] Manner C-3-1: When the application state of the first configuration in the cell changes, the base station re-executes the SI-RNTI scrambled DCI transmission process. The terminal in the cell considers that the application state of the first configuration indicated by the dynamic signaling (the first DCI) has a high priority, which can override the initial application state of the first configuration indicated in SIB1, i.e., it is determined that the priority of the activation state of the first configuration indicated by the first DCI is higher than the priority of the initial state of the first configuration at the first time.

[239] Embodiment 2

[240] In this embodiment, an NES UE determines a common signal time-domain configuration in the manner that the NES UE determines the SSB transmission period, PRACH transmission occasion, paging occasion and the like according to SIB1 configuration parameters specified in conventional protocols. The common signal time-domain configuration determined by this method is collectively defined as a default system common signal configuration. In some embodiments, it is set that in this default system common signal configuration: the SSB period is 20ms, prach-ConfigurationIndex=19, and every 2 radio frames is 1 paging frame.

[241] In addition, the terminal UE receives one or more first configurations of the common signal through SIB1 or RRC signaling, and the first identification information (configuration identification number) of at least one set of the first configurations and whether to apply or activate the first configuration corresponding to the first identification information can be indicated through the first information field of the dynamic DCI (the first DCI).

[242] Step A: The main difference from Step A in Embodiment 1 is that the terminal receives N first configurations, where N≥1, and each first configuration has corresponding first identification information. In addition, each first configuration may be one or more of Implementation A-1, and / or Implementation A-2, and / or Implementation A-3.

[243] For example, one set of first configurations has first identification information ID=1, corresponding parameter period T=160ms, radio frame offset=20ms, second period T_on=60ms; another set of first configurations has first identification information ID=2, corresponding parameter period T=80ms, radio frame offset=20ms, second period T_on=40ms;

[244] Other parts are similar to the method in Embodiment 1;

[245] Step B: The terminal determines the indicated applied state or non-applied state of the first configuration according to the second sub-information field in the first information field of the dynamic DCI (the first DCI), and determines the indicated first identification information of the first configuration according to the first sub-information field in the first information field.The main difference from Step B in Embodiment 1 is that the terminal determines the first identification information of the first configuration according to the first sub-information field, and the number of bits of the first sub-information field is determined according to the number of configurations of the common signal obtained by the terminal, for example, , where N is the number of configurations (or the first configurations) of the common signal obtained by the terminal. Whether to apply the first identification information of the first configuration indicated by the first sub-information field is determined according to the second sub-information field, and the number of bits of the second sub-information field is 1 bit. In addition, the indication manner of the first sub-information field and the second sub-information field in the first DCI is similar to Step B in Embodiment 1, with M1=.

[246] For example, according to the example in Step A, N=2, the length (number of bits) of the first sub-information field is 1 bit. The UE determines, according to the first sub-information field, that the first identification information of the first configuration indicated by the first DCI is ID=1, or the first identification information of the first configuration indicated by the first DCI is ID=2. If the first sub-information field in the first DCI indicates the first identification information ID=2 of the first configuration, the UE determines whether to apply or activate the first configuration indicated by the first identification information ID=2 according to the second sub-information field. If the first configuration indicated by the first identification information ID=2 is not applied or not activated, the default system configuration information is applied.

[247] The main difference from Step B in Embodiment 1 is that the terminal determines the first identification information of the applied first configuration according to the first sub-information field, where the first identification information corresponding to the default system common signal configuration is ID=0, and the number of bits of the first sub-information field is . In addition, the indication manner of the first sub-information field is similar to Step B in Embodiment 1, so based on the above, the number of bits of the first information field is M1=.

[248] For example, according to the example in Step A, N=2, the length of the first sub-information field is 2 bits. If the UE determines, according to the first sub-information field in the first DCI, that the first identification information of the first configuration is ID=0, the first DCI indicates that the terminal applies the default system common signal configuration; if the UE determines, according to the first sub-information field in the first DCI, that the first identification information of the first configuration is ID=1, the first DCI indicates that the terminal applies the first configuration with first identification information ID=1.

[249] Step C: The main difference from Step C in Embodiment 1 is that the terminal obtains, according to SIB1, and / or RRC signaling, and / or information in the SI-RNTI scrambled DCI 1_0, the first identification information and / or the corresponding initial state of the first configuration applied at the first time.

[250] For example, the terminal determines, according to one of the above signaling parameters, that the first identification information ID=1 is applied, and is in a state of applying the first configuration ID=1.

[251] Embodiment 3

[252] In this embodiment, the UE receives one or more sets of configurations of the common signal through SIB1 or RRC information, which are used to determine one or more sets of first configurations for time-domain reception / transmission of common signals, and determines, through the first information field of the dynamic DCI (the first DCI), which first identification information of the first configuration is applied. Different from Embodiment 1 and Embodiment 2, in this embodiment, there may be no default system configuration.

[253] Step A: The terminal obtains N configurations of the common signal. In an implementation, the N configurations of the common signal are the N first configurations, and the first DCI indicates each of the N first configurations; where N≥1, and each first configuration has corresponding first identification information. In addition, each first configuration may be one or more of Implementation A-1, and / or Implementation A-2, and / or Implementation A-3.

[254] For example, in a first configuration, the first identification information ID=0, corresponding SSB period T=160ms; in another first configuration, the first identification information ID=1, an SSB period T=40ms; in yet another first configuration, the first identification information ID=3, an SSB period T=80ms;

[255] Other parts are similar to the method in Embodiment 1;

[256] Step B: The terminal determines the first identification information of the applied first configuration according to the first information field in the dynamic first DCI, the length of which is .

[257] For example, the length of the first information field in the first DCI is , where ‘00’ indicates applying the first configuration with first identification information ID=0, ‘01’ indicates applying the first configuration with first identification information ID=1, ‘10’ indicates applying the first configuration with first identification information ID=2, and ‘11’ indicates a reserved bit.

[258] Step C: The main difference from Step C in Embodiment 1 is that the terminal obtains, according to SIB1, and / or RRC signaling, and / or information in the SI-RNTI scrambled DCI 1_0, the first identification information and / or the corresponding initial state of the first configuration applied at the first time.

[259] For example, the terminal determines, according to one of the parameters, that the first configuration with first identification information ID=1 is applied, and is in a state of applying the first identification information ID=1.

[311] a paging signal.

[312] For the implementation of the determining method according to the embodiments of the present disclosure applied to the network-side device, reference may be made to the detailed description of the implementation applied to the terminal, and repeated description is omitted here.

[313] The present disclosure further provides another embodiment of a method for determining a configuration of a common signal. The network-side device sends a first signal to the terminal to indicate at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal for one or more serving cells, and / or the activation state of the first configuration, so that the terminal can determine the configuration of the common signal according to the first signal and apply the first configuration indicated by the first signal, quickly obtaining adaptively adjusted time-domain positions of the common signal, and solving the problem in related technologies that the configuration update application delay of common signals is large, making it impossible to adaptively adjust the time-domain configuration of common signals in a timely manner.

[314] As shown in FIG. 11, another embodiment of the method for determining a configuration of a common signal according to the present disclosure is performed by a terminal and includes:

[315] S1110, obtaining a first signal sent by a network-side device, where the first signal includes a first information field of one or more serving cells, the first information field includes a first sub-information field and / or a second sub-information field; the first sub-information field is used for indicating at least one set of first configurations of the common signal; the second sub-information field is used for indicating an activation state of the first configuration; where one serving cell corresponds to one first information field, and / or each terminal group of one serving cell corresponds to one first information field;

[316] S1120, determining the configuration of the common signal according to the first information field.

[317] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the first signal includes but is not limited to only DCI and / or a Low Power Wake Up Signal (LP-WUS). In some embodiments, the serving cell may also be referred to as a carrier, and the first signal includes a first information field of one or more carriers. One serving cell or one carrier corresponds to at least one terminal group.

[318] In the determining method according to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal may be applied to an idle state / inactive state or to a connected state. By sending the first signal to the idle state / inactive state or connected state terminal, the first signal indicates to the terminal at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal for one or more serving cells, and / or the activation state of the first configuration, so that the terminal can determine the configuration of the common signal according to the first signal and apply the first configuration indicated by the first signal, quickly obtaining adaptively adjusted time-domain positions of the common signal.

[320] Similar to the embodiment applied to DCI, in this embodiment, the common signal includes one or more of the following:

[321] a synchronization signal block (SSB) signal;

[324] In some embodiments, the determining method according to this embodiment further includes:

[325] obtaining multiple configurations of the common signal sent by the network-side device, where the first configuration is at least one of the multiple configurations.

[326] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, the multiple configurations of the common signal may correspond to different energy saving states respectively. According to this implementation, the network-side device sends the first signal to the terminal, and indicates at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal and / or the corresponding activation state through the first information field. In this way, the first signal can indicate first configurations of different energy saving states, allowing the terminal’s common signal to switch between different energy saving configurations, enabling the terminal to enter an energy saving state in a simpler and faster manner, achieving the effect of reducing the power consumption of the network device.

[327] In another implementation of the embodiments of the present disclosure, the first signal is an LP-WUS, including a wake-up indication, used for indicating whether the terminal needs to wake up for PDCCH monitoring. According to this implementation, in addition to carrying the wake-up indication, the first signal also carries the first information field, indicating to the RRC idle state / inactive state terminal and / or the RRC connected state terminal at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal, and / or the activation state of the first configuration. The terminal can quickly obtain adaptively adjusted time-domain positions of the common signal according to the LP-WUS.

[328] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, according to this implementation, the first signal further includes at least one second information field, where the second information field includes a wake-up indication for each terminal group in the serving cell;

[329] wherein each second information field corresponds to one first information field, and / or the second information fields associated with the same serving cell correspond to one first information field.

[330] According to this implementation, in the first signal, each terminal group corresponds to one second information field, used for indicating the wake-up indication of the corresponding terminal group. Alternatively, all second information fields associated with one serving cell correspond to one first information field.

[331] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, in the first signal, the correspondence between the first information field and the second information field may include at least one of the following:

[332] First: In the first signal, the second information fields corresponding to multiple terminal groups of one serving cell are cascaded and arranged according to a preset rule, and the first information field corresponding to each terminal group is arranged before or after the corresponding first information field; that is, for one carrier, each terminal group of one serving cell corresponds to one first information field, and each first information field is cascaded before or after the corresponding second information field, respectively associated with the corresponding terminal group;

[333] and / or

[334] Second: In the first signal, the second information fields corresponding to multiple terminal groups of one serving cell are cascaded and arranged according to a preset rule, and the first information field corresponding to the serving cell is arranged before or after all the second information fields; that is, for one carrier, one serving cell corresponds to one first information field, and the first information field corresponding to the serving cell is located before or after all the second information fields, and this first information field is associated with all terminal groups corresponding to the serving cell;

[335] and / or

[336] Third: In the first signal, the second information fields corresponding to multiple terminal groups of one serving cell are cascaded and arranged according to a preset rule, and the multiple first information fields corresponding to each terminal group are arranged before or after all the second information fields, and the multiple first information fields are cascaded and arranged according to the preset rule; that is, for one carrier, in a case that each terminal group of one serving cell corresponds to one first information field, the first information field corresponding to each terminal group is arranged before or after all the second information fields, and arranged according to a preset rule, and each first information field corresponds to one terminal group.

[337] In some embodiments, the above-mentioned preset rule includes but is not limited to only an arrangement rule of terminal group identifiers from large to small or from small to large.

[338] In a case that the first information includes first information fields of multiple serving cells, the second information fields associated with the multiple serving cells are sorted according to a preset rule, and the corresponding first information fields are set corresponding to the second information fields.

[339] In a case that the first signal includes first information fields of multiple serving cells, the first information fields and second information fields corresponding to the multiple serving cells may be set according to at least one of the above three manners, and repeated description is omitted here.

[340] In this implementation, one second information field in the first signal corresponds to a wake-up indication of at least one terminal group, used for indicating whether the corresponding terminal group needs to wake up for PDCCH monitoring.

[341] In some embodiments, the second information field uses bitmap information for the wake-up indication, and each terminal group corresponds to one bit; or, the second information field uses codepoint information for the wake-up indication, and each terminal group corresponds to one codepoint.

[342] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, each first information field corresponds to at least one terminal group, used for indicating the configuration of the common signal of the corresponding terminal group.

[343] In some embodiments, in this implementation, the first information field may be indicated by bitmap information. On the basis of the second information field corresponding to each terminal group, 1 bit or N (≥1) bits are respectively added through the bitmap information as the first information field, used for indicating at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal and / or the activation state of the first configuration.

[344] In another implementation, the first information field may be indicated by codepoint information. On the basis of the second information field corresponding to each terminal group, 1 bit or M (≥1) bits are respectively added through the codepoint information as the first information field, used for indicating at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal and / or the activation state of the first configuration.

[345] In another implementation of the embodiments of the present disclosure, in some embodiments, one serving cell corresponds to one first information field. In some embodiments, the second information fields corresponding to multiple terminal groups of one serving cell are cascaded and arranged according to a preset rule, and the first information field corresponding to the serving cell is arranged before or after all the second information fields.

[346] In some embodiments, in this implementation, the first information field may be indicated by bitmap information. On the basis of the bitmap including all the second information fields, 1 bit or N (≥1) bits are added as the first information field, used for indicating at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal and / or the activation state of the first configuration.

[347] In another implementation, in some embodiments, the first information field may be indicated by codepoint information. On the basis of the information block including all the second information fields, 1 bit or M (≥1) bits are added as the first information field, used for indicating at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal and / or the activation state of the first configuration.

[348] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in the first signal, the association relationship between the codepoint value and the indication information between the corresponding first information field and the second information field may be defined through higher-layer parameters or determined through correspondence with higher-layer parameters.

[349] The following is an example of the transmission manner of the first information field and the second information field in the embodiments of the present disclosure.

[350] It is assumed that the terminal obtains a set of common signal configurations, including one or more of an SSB related configuration, a PRACH resource configuration, and a paging signal resource configuration. In addition, it is assumed that the cell includes 20 UEs, divided into 3 subgroups, where subgroup one includes UE#1 to UE#10, subgroup two includes UE#11 to UE#15, and subgroup three includes UE#16 to UE#20.

[351] Example 1

[352] In this Example 1, in the first signal, each second information field carries one first information field, and the first information field and the second information field are indicated by bitmap information.

[353] For example, when the second information field is indicated by bitmap information, the number of bits in the first signal is N = (subgroups × number of information) bits, where each subgroup corresponds to one first information field. For example, each subgroup corresponds to 2 bits of information, where the first bit is the second information field, used as the wake-up indication, and the second bit is the first information field, used for indicating at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal and / or the activation state of the first configuration.

[354] In some embodiments, in the first signal, the arrangement manner of the second information fields and first information fields corresponding to multiple subgroups is cascaded according to a predefined rule, for example, cascading the information bits in order of subgroup numbers from low to high, or from high to low.

[355] For example, when the bitmap of the first signal is 6 bits, the bit at the first position is used for indicating the second information field corresponding to subgroup one, and the bit at the second position is used for indicating the first information field corresponding to subgroup one; the bit at the third position is used for indicating the second information field corresponding to subgroup two, and the bit at the fourth position is used for indicating the first information field corresponding to subgroup two; the bit at the fifth position is used for indicating the second information field corresponding to subgroup three, and the bit at the sixth position is used for indicating the first information field corresponding to subgroup three.

[356] Example 2

[357] In this Example 2, the first signal includes one first information field, and the first information field corresponds to all the second information fields in the first signal, and the first information field and the second information field are indicated by bitmap information.

[358] When the second information field is indicated by bitmap information, the number of bits in the first signal is N = (number of bits of the second information fields of all subgroups + number of bits of the first information field) bits, where all subgroups correspond to one set of first information fields.

[359] For example, according to the LP-WUS information indication, each subgroup requires 1 bit of information for the wake-up indication (second information field), and the first information field indication requires 1 bit of information. The second information fields (wake-up indications) corresponding to multiple subgroups are cascaded according to a predefined rule, and the first information field is added after the cascaded information.

[360] For example, when the bitmap of the first signal is 4 bits, the bits at the first to third positions are used as the wake-up indications (second information fields) for different subgroups, and the bit at the fourth position is used for indicating the first information field.

[361] Example 3

[362] In this Example 3, in the first signal, each second information field carries one first information field, and the first information field and the second information field are indicated by codepoint information.

[363] When the first signal is indicated by codepoint information, the number of bits of the first signal is N = (subgroups × number of information) bits, where each subgroup corresponds to one first information field, and the association relationship between the codepoint value and the indication information between the corresponding first information field and the second information field may be defined through higher-layer parameters or determined through correspondence with higher-layer parameters. For example, each subgroup corresponds to codepoints of (N1+N2) bits, where the number of bits of the first codepoint is N1, used for sending the wake-up indication (second information field), and the number of bits of the second codepoint is N2, used as the first information field, indicating at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal and / or the activation state of the first configuration.

[364] In some embodiments, multiple second information fields and corresponding first information fields are cascaded according to a predefined rule, for example, cascading in order of subgroup numbers from low to high, or from high to low.

[365] For example, for each subgroup, the codepoint used for sending the wake-up indication is 2 bits, and the codepoint used as the first information field is also 2 bits. Therefore, each subgroup corresponds to an information field length of 4 bits, cascaded in order of subgroups from low to high. Alternatively, the wake-up indications (second information fields) corresponding to all subgroups are cascaded with the first information fields corresponding to all subgroups, and each part is arranged in order of subgroup numbers from low to high.

[366] Example 4

[367] In this Example 4, the first signal includes one first information field, and the first information field corresponds to all the second information fields in the first signal, and the first information field and the second information field are indicated by codepoint information.

[368] In this example, when the first signal is indicated by codepoint information, the number of bits of the first signal is N = (number of bits of the second information fields of all subgroups + number of bits of the first information field) bits, where all subgroups correspond to one first information field. For example, according to the LP-WUS information indication, each subgroup requires a 2-bit codepoint for sending the wake-up indication (second information field), and the first information field requires 2 bits of information.

[369] In some embodiments, the second information fields of multiple subgroups are cascaded according to a predefined rule, for example, adding the first information field after the multiple second information fields.

[370] For example, using the above method, the bitmap of the first signal is determined to be 8 bits, where the bits at the first to sixth positions are used for sending the wake-up indications of multiple subgroups, and the bits at the seventh and eighth positions are used as the first information field, indicating at least one set of first configurations applied to the common signal and / or the activation state of the first configuration.

[371] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, in step S1120, determining the configuration of the common signal according to the first information field includes one or more of the following:
