Claims

A valve (20) includes a thermoplastic elastomer head (96) having an inner surface (108), an outer surface (120), and one or more self-sealing grooves (132) through the head (96). The valve (20) has a peripheral annular fixing segment (80) radially separated from the head (96) and an intermediate, flexible, resilient annular segment (92) extending radially from the head (96) to the peripheral fixing segment (80). In a closed configuration of the valve (20), the head (96) has a maximum thickness (T1) between the inner surface (108) and the outer surface (120). This maximum thickness (T1) is located radially between the intermediate segment (92) and the central axis (32) at a location (124) that is closer to the central axis (32) than to the intermediate segment (92).
