Claims

The invention relates to a nasal dilator (400), comprising a first support frame (402) and a second support frame (404) for insertion into the left and right nasal cavities (1) and a bridge element (406), wherein the bridge element (406) connects the first support frame (402) and the second support frame (404), wherein the bridge element (406) is configured to rest against the external end of the nasal septum, wherein each of the first support frames (402) and the second support frames (404) are configured to extend from the bridge element (406) through a nostril to a posterior section of the respective nasal cavity (1) when using the nasal dilator (400), wherein each of the first support frames (402) and the second support frames (404) comprises a main part (408, 410) and a stabilizing part (412, 414), the main part (408,410) with a flat or curved area traversed by a plurality of frame segments (418a, 418b, 418c, 418d) forming a continuous boundary edge for supporting the nasal wings and the stabilizing part (412, 414), which has a longitudinal support member (412, 414) for placement on the nasal vestibular floor, and wherein the main part (408, 410) and the stabilizing part (412, 414) are spaced apart from each other. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing the nasal dilator.
