CHICK TRANSPORT SYSTEM THAT ALLOWS TRACKING THE CHICK'S MOVEMENT

Claims

The present invention relates to a chick transport system comprising: - a conveyor (17) for transporting the chick along a transport path, wherein the conveyor has a descending end, - a chick displacement tracking assembly (22, 23) configured to acquire digital images of the chick from a first point along the transport path, wherein at least some of these digital images cover the descending end of the conveyor, wherein this tracking assembly assigns a unique digital identifier to the chick to assign the digital images thus acquired to the moving chick, - a processing unit (U) for processing the digital images obtained by the chick displacement tracking assembly, determining from these processed images at least one parameter of the chick, wherein said at least one parameter is associated with the unique digital identifier,and produce at least one chick passage determination signal at a second point along the transport path, where this second point is preferably located at the level of the descending end of this conveyor or at the descending end of this conveyor.
