Claims
A method for post-emergence weed control, comprising applying an effective amount of a composition comprising herbicide A (component A), mesotrione (component B) and optionally at least one herbicide C (component C) to emerged weeds or to an area where weeds grow.

A method for post-emergence weed control, characterized in that it comprises applying an effective amount of a composition comprising: A) herbicide A-1: ethyl 2-[2-[[3-chloro-5-fluoro-6-[3-methyl-2,6-dioxo-4-(trifluoromethyl)pyrimidin-1-yl]-2-pyridyl]oxy]phenoxy]acetate; and B) mesotrione, including its agriculturally acceptable salts, to an area where weeds are growing.

Composition characterized in that it comprises A) herbicide A-1: ethyl 2-[2-[[3-chloro-5-fluoro-6-[3-methyl-2,6-dioxo-4-(trifluoromethyl)pyrimidin-1-yl]-2-pyridyl]oxy]phenoxy]acetate; and B) mesotrione, including its agriculturally acceptable salts; and wherein the weight ratio of herbicide A to mesotrione is in the range of 1:4 to 1:12.
