Claims
The assembly of a fluid end to a power end of a reciprocating pump involves the use of couplers, such as tie rods. A pump frame is structured so that multiple patterns of fluid-end tie rods can be machined within the faceplate of the pump's power end. In one embodiment, it is not necessary for all patterns to exist simultaneously, and additional tie rod patterns can be added later to accommodate other tie rod patterns.
