Claims

The present invention relates to a method for applying a treated plant propagation material onto an underlying substrate, the method comprising the steps of: - providing a container comprising a plant propagation material; - providing a separation device configured to separate the plant propagation material into one or more individual units of plant propagation material; - releasing the plant propagation material from the container into the separation device to form the one or more individual units of plant propagation material; - treating at least part of the one or more individual units of plant propagation material during free fall within the separation device with a treatment composition to form one or more treated individual units of plant propagation material, wherein the treatment composition comprises at least one inoculant;and - dispensing one or more individual units of plant propagation material onto the underlying substrate, wherein the one or more individual units of treated plant propagation material are dispensed by free fall onto the substrate.;
