Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for automatically locking an adjusting member comprising an outer element (2), secured to a mechanical system, provided on its inner wall with an internal thread and intended to receive a movable inner element (1) provided with an external thread (11) and with an inner bore (10), the inner (1) and outer (2) elements cooperating by screwing to adjust the position of the system, characterized in that it comprises a push-button (3) housed in a sliding manner in the bore (10) of the inner element (1) while covering a deformable pin (4) forming a spring provided with lateral branches which are retained in longitudinal slots (12) formed opposite one another through the wall of the inner element (1) and which, in the relaxed position of the pin, are blocked in notches (20) formed in the inner wall of the outer element (2).
