A fastness improving agent and preparation process thereof

Abstract

Described is a resin, obtained from the condensation of at least one sulfonated alkylated aromatic alcohol, at least one naphthalene diol and, optionally at least one phenolic diol, with at least one aliphatic carbonyl compound, to a method for forming such a resin, to the use of such a resin, to a dye fixing agent comprising such a resin, to a method for treating a fabric a dye fixing composition comprising such a resin.The obtained dye-fixing agent has the advantage of a good fixing effect and is ecofriendly.
