Midsole and method for manufacturing a shoe

Abstract

A midsole includes a bottom plate (10), an insole (20), and welts (30). The bottom plate (10) has top and bottom surfaces (11, 12) and a peripheral surface (13). The top and bottom surfaces (11, 12) have top and bottom notation sets (14, 15), respectively. The insole (20) is positioned and attached to the top surface (11) through the top notation set (14). An annular contour of the insole (20) and the peripheral surface (13) of the bottom plate (10) have a gap therebetween. The welts (30) are positioned and attached to the bottom surface (12) through the bottom notation set (15). Each welt (30) has an outer curved surface (31), an inner curved surface (32), and a width (w) measured from the outer curved surface (31) to the inner curved surface (32). A method for manufacturing a shoe is also provided.
