Abstract

An apparatus, method, and computer program product are provided for switching (902) from utilizing a basic service set primary channel to utilizing a non-primary channel access primary channel in association with a duration of a transmission opportunity; receiving (904), from an access point, a frame associated with switching to utilizing the basic service set primary channel before an expiration of the duration; and switching (906), based on the frame, from utilizing the non-primary channel access primary channel to utilizing the basic service set primary channel.
