Relay and electricity meter

Abstract

The present application relates to a relay and an electricity meter. The electricity meter includes the relay. The relay includes a magnetic circuit portion, a contact portion, and a magnetic isolation plate. The magnetic circuit portion is configured to generate an electromagnetic force. The contact portion is disposed on a side of the magnetic circuit portion in a first direction. The contact portion is configured to connect to a load circuit, and the contact portion has a movable contact member. The movable contact member is movable under action of the electromagnetic force to control connection or disconnection of the load circuit. The magnetic isolation plate is disposed on a side of the magnetic circuit portion adjacent to a meter housing of the electricity meter, and configured to shield the relay from magnetic field interference outside the meter housing of the electricity meter. In this way, by mounting only one magnetic isolation plate on the side of the magnetic circuit portion adjacent to the meter housing of the electricity meter, electromagnetic interference from outside the electricity meter can be shielded. Since the other sides of the magnetic circuit portion are farther away from the meter housing of the electricity meter, no magnetic isolation plate is needed. Therefore, the structure for shielding against external electromagnetic interference in the relay is simple, and while effectively shielding against the external electromagnetic interference, the manufacturing cost of the relay can be also reduced.
