Improved front bumper for agricultural vehicle

Abstract

In a first aspect, the invention concerns a bumper for an agricultural vehicle, with a casing comprising a first and second laterally extending wing and a central section. Located in this central section is a liquid storage tank, coupled to a pump mounted on the first wing, which is connected via a hose to a spray element. The bumper is equipped with a suspension system to be securely attached to the front of the vehicle.In a second aspect, the invention concerns a method for simplifying and accelerating the cleaning of an agricultural vehicle, comprising the steps of fitting a bumper to the front of an agricultural vehicle, where the bumper comprises an enclosure with a first and a second wing, and between them a central section, in which a tank is provided for the retention of liquid; transporting liquid in the tank with the agricultural vehicle; cleaning the agricultural vehicle with the liquid in the tank by means of a pump connected to the tank and mounted on the first wing of the enclosure, and a spray element connected to the pump via a hose. This invention makes it possible to clean the tractor directly on site, which saves time and increases safety on public roads because the bumper partially shields the front of the vehicle.The compact position of the pump ensures the preservation of ground clearance, good visibility for the operator, and easy accessibility for maintenance, which increases maneuverability and ease of maintenance.
