Description
MODULAR AUTOMATED REPORTING SYSTEM FOR SUSTAINABILITY PERFORMANCE BASED ON 10T DATA LINKED TO CSRD Title of the invention 5 MODULAR AUTOMATED REPORTING SYSTEM FOR SUSTAINABILITY PERFORMANCE BASED ON 10T DATA LINKED TO CSRD Technical domain The invention concerns a system and method for the automatic generation of sustainability reports in accordance with the European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive 10 (CSRD) and underlying ESRS standards, using data collected in real-time via IoT sensors linked to industrial packaging systems, such as reusable IBC containers, flex tanks, ISO containers, or similar transport packaging. State of the art: Existing systems provide GPS or RFID tracking of containers, manual entry of 15 sustainability data, and basic IoT integrations. However, the automatic linking of IoT data to legal reporting requirements is missing, specifically the ESRS structures as required by the CSRD. Problem statement: Companies are required to report transparent sustainability information. This process is often manual, error-prone and difficult to scale. In addition, existing solutions are not tailored to asset level reporting nor equipped with automatic translation steps into legal obligations. Description of the invention The system comprises: 4.1 IoT module: Sensors(12) integrate into IBCs, flex tanks and ISO containers(10) and measure location, temperature, opening status, cargo type and chemical parameters. 4.2 Data connection: Data is transmitted via network connection(14) to the cloud and central processing unit. 4.3 Assignment module(18): Analyzes collected data, determines automatic assignment to relevant ESRS sections by applying AI logic in case of missing or inconsistent data. BE2025 / 0091 2 304.4 Previous Load Risk Analysis(22): Maintains history of previous loads, compares with permitted combinations (e.g. Phosphate lists) and warns of risk of contamination. 4.5 Report Generator(24): Generates audit-proof reports in XBRL / XML / PDF with sector-specific configuration (e.g. chemicals, food). 4.6Visualization(26):User receives live reports and alerts via 35workstation interface. Benefits of the invention -Fully automated linking between hardware data and statutory reporting structures -Minimal manual input required -Separate durability report per container 40-Sector configuration for precision -Real-time alerts -Pre-load risk analysis for safety and conformity Patent claims 1.Automated system for sustainability reporting of industrial packaging systems, selected from IBC containers, flex tanks, and ISO containers, comprising: - at least one 1T sensor module coupled to the packaging system, where the sensor module collects data on loading type, chemical properties, and opening status; - a network module for transmitting the sensor data to a central processing unit; - a mapping engine configured to automatically assign the received sensor data to fields defined according to the CSRD and associated ESRS; - a previous load risk analysis module that maintains a history of previous loads, compares them with permitted combinations selected from, e.g., FOSFA lists or predefined compatibility rules, and warns of a risk of contamination; and - a visualization unit for displaying reports and real-time alerts to an end user. 2. System in accordance with conclusion 1, further comprising a report generator configured to produce reports in a format selected from XBRL, XML or PDF. 3.System according to conclusion 1 or 2, where the mapping engine applies AI-based fallback logic in case of missing or inconsistent data. BE2025 / 0091 3 604. System according to one of the preceding conclusions, where the preceding loading risk analysis module performs compatibility comparisons with external reference lists. 5. System according to one of the preceding conclusions, configured to generate real-time alerts upon detection of contamination risks or deviations from set sustainability parameters. 656. System according to one of the preceding conclusions, where the reporting module applies sector configurations in accordance with specific ESRS priorities and sets of standards. 7. System according to one of the preceding conclusions, where the sensor module is further coordinated.
