Abstract

The invention relates to an inspection pig for determining the position of a possible leak in a pipeline, comprising a pig body which has a front side facing in a direction of travel during operation of the inspection pig and a rear side opposite the front side, wherein at least one front hydrophone is arranged on the front side and at least one rear hydrophone is arranged on the rear side, wherein the front hydrophone is oriented in the direction of travel and the rear hydrophone is oriented against the direction of travel.
