Abstract

The invention relates to a pill dispenser (10) comprising a housing (12), a drug dispensing ramp (14) extending from the housing (12), a plurality of movable refills (18), each refill comprising compartments (20) capable of receiving at least one drug, at least one motor (22) for driving the refills (18), the refills (18) being capable of being driven to positions for dispensing at least one drug from a compartment (20) to the dispensing ramp (14), and a control unit for at least one motor (22), the control unit being capable of activating at least one motor (22) according to a drug dispensing plan. The invention also relates to a drug dispensing system and method.
