Abstract

The present invention relates to the field of computer systems for knowledge representation and formal modelling of legal entities, including formal ontologies, graph and hypergraph representations, and systems for knowledge extraction and traceability. More particularly, the invention relates to a hybrid computer architecture for knowledge representation of legal entities as organised objects with a specific nature, wherein the knowledge concerning each entity is represented with documented provenance and trustworthiness. The computer system for knowledge representation of legal entities using a hybrid architecture comprises a server system (1), which includes a physical infrastructure block (2) bidirectionally connected to one or more virtual servers (3), wherein the virtual server (3) comprises a software infrastructure block (5) bidirectionally connected to a hypergraph and artificial intelligence block (6), which is bidirectionally connected to a visualisation block (7). The virtual server (3) is bidirectionally connected to user electronic devices (8.1..8n) and data delivery devices (4.1..4n). The hypergraph and artificial intelligence block (6) includes a validation module (9) and a traceability module (10), which are unidirectionally connected to a canonical ontology module (11). The canonical ontology module (11) is bidirectionally connected to an application interface module (13). A mapping module (14) is unidirectionally connected to the canonical ontology module (11). The application interface module (13) is bidirectionally connected to a semantic hypergraph module (12) and is unidirectionally connected to a compliance assessment module (15), a metric computation module (16) and a classifier harmonisation module (17). The semantic hypergraph module (12) is unidirectionally connected to the mapping module (14).
