Abstract

The utility model relates to a system for continuous monitoring of the behavior of a motor vehicle driver and for measuring various parameters (vehicle speed, extreme acceleration, sudden braking, fuel consumption, etc.). The generated data are transmitted in encrypted form to modules for processing, analysis, and report generation. The system is applicable to the operational control and management of vehicles and human resources. By using the system, a rapid and significant reduction in company operating costs is achieved, the available vehicle fleet is utilized more efficiently, and driver behavior is improved. The disclosed utility model provides a system for the processing, analysis, and secure transmission of telematics data, comprising telematics modules (1), a monitoring, analysis and data storage center (2), and a workstation module (3), wherein each telematics module (1) is bidirectionally connected to the monitoring, analysis and data storage center (2) via a GPRS / SMS communication link, and the monitoring, analysis and data storage center (2) is bidirectionally connected to the workstation module (3). Each telematics module (1) comprises sensors (4) connected unidirectionally to buffer memories (5), each buffer memory (5) being connected, in a logical configuration based on predefined algorithms, to a control logic unit (6). The control logic unit (6) is connected unidirectionally to an audible and visual signaling unit (8) and to a report and event generation unit (7). The report and event generation unit (7) is connected to an encryption unit (11), which receives a generated initialization vector and a unique encryption key (9). The encryption unit (11) is connected to a protocol encoder (12) and, via a modem (13), to the monitoring, analysis and data storage center (2). The monitoring, analysis and data storage center (2) comprises a data receiving unit (14), a decoding unit (15), an analysis unit (16), a database unit (17), and a reporting and driver behavior modeling unit (18), the connections between these units being bidirectional.
