Concrete mix with fayalite

Abstract

The utility model relates to a concrete mix containing fayalite, intended for use in residential, industrial, road, and infrastructure construction, as well as in the manufacture of concrete products and various structural elements. The concrete mix consists of Portland cement, magnesium-iron silicate, sand, primary and secondary coarse aggregate, a superplasticizer, and water. The components are present in specific weight ratios; for example, magnesium-iron silicate is present in an amount ranging from 2.70 to 6.12 wt. %, sand - from 37.24 to 38.01 wt. %, and the superplasticizer - from 0.10 to 0.14 wt. %.The coarse aggregate consists of two fractions with sizes ranging from 4 to 11.2 mm and from 11.2 to 22.4 mm, respectively. The specific quantitative ratio between fialite, sand, coarse aggregates, water, and the superplasticizer ensures the necessary workability and an appropriate particle size distribution of the concrete mix. The utility model allows for the production of concrete with different compressive strength classes depending on the selected mix design and production conditions.
