V-shaped protector for rubber tracks

Abstract

This utility model relates to a V-shaped protector for rubber tracks, which will be used in the manufacture of rubber tracks for agricultural, construction, and industrial machinery. The V-shaped tread comprises a base (1), with a longitudinal central channel (2) formed along the longitudinal axis of the track, on either side of which are symmetrically arranged a right V-shaped tread section (3.1) and a left V-shaped tread section (3.2). Each of the two V-shaped tread sections (3.1) or (3.2) consists, respectively, of at least two right tread blocks (5.1 and 6.1) or two left tread blocks (5.2 and 6.2). The tread blocks (5.1 and 5.2) are positioned relative to the central axis of the tread at an angle α, which ranges from 15° to 80°, while the tread blocks (6.1 and 6.2) are positioned relative to the central axis of the tread at an angle β ranging from 15° to 80°, and both the right (5.1 and 6.1) and left tread blocks, (5.2 and 6.2) are separated by channels (4), shaped as rounded radial grooves with a radius R greater than or equal to 2 mm at the base of the tread blocks (5.1, 5.2, 6.1, and 6.2), which limit stress concentration at the tread-casing interface, and the depth of the channels (4) is between 50% and 100% of the height of the tread blocks.
