Abstract

The device for measuring the tensile force in a multi-strand wire rope consists of a main body (1), formed with two concave grooves (1a, 1b) on one side and two concave grooves (1c, 1g) on the opposite side. At one end of the main body (1), a first supporting body (2) is positioned, and at the other end, a second supporting body (3) is located. In the middle of the main body (1), a first pressing body (4) and a second pressing body (5) are arranged. Channels are formed on the upper sides of the first supporting body (2) and the second supporting body (3), as well as on the upper side of the first pressing body (4) and the lower side of the second pressing body (5). A multi-strand wire rope (9) is placed in the channels between the first pressing body (4) and the second pressing body (5), also lying in the channels of the first supporting body (2) and the second supporting body (3). The first supporting body (2) is attached to one end of the main body (1) by means of two screws (6a, 6b). The second supporting body (3) is attached to the other end of the main body (1) by two additional screws (7a, 7b). The first pressing body (4) and the second pressing body (5) are fastened to each other and to the main body (1) by two studs (8a, 8b). The studs (8a, 8b) are screwed into the main body (1), and two nuts (8c, 8d) are tightened onto them. On the underside of the main body (1), a first console (10) is located at one end, and a second console (11) is located at the opposite end. The first console (10) is attached to the main body (1) with two screws (12a, 12b), while the second console (11) is attached with two screws (13a, 13b). Between the first console (10) and the second console (11), a MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) sensor (14) is positioned. The first half of the sensor (14a) is fixed to the first console (10), and the second half of the sensor (14b) is fixed to the second console (11).
