Description
/ 7 “AUTONOMOUS LIGHT SIGNALING AND ITS RESPECTIVE OBTAINING PROCESS”. TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[001] This patent application for invention privilege pertains to the traffic signaling sector, notably, said invention is a system with autonomous and self-sufficient luminous signaling, powered by solar energy. It has versatile applicability, combining the reflective function through direct illumination and the self-emission of light by LEDs, guaranteeing constant visibility at long range, even in the absence of natural light and in adverse conditions, such as rain, dust clouds or fog, surpassing traditional reflective systems. HISTORY OF THE TECHNIQUE
[002] Lighting has been used for centuries to guide and warn travelers. Since antiquity, lighthouses and bonfires were used to aid maritime navigation, and torches indicated safe paths on trails and roads. With the advancement of electrification, the first warning lights appeared, used mainly on railways to alert train drivers to deviations and dangers ahead.
[003] With the popularization of automobiles in the early 20th century, it became essential to regulate road traffic. Lanterns with incandescent bulbs were adopted to indicate roadworks, detours, and imminent dangers. In the 1950s, flashing light technology began to be widely used to draw more attention from drivers at intersections and busy highways.
[004] In addition to flashing lights and traffic lights, other lighting devices have been implemented to increase road safety. Reflective signs and flashing signals now indicate dangerous curves, speed limits, roadworks, and school zones. Petition 870250069502, dated 06 / 08 / 2025, page 4 / 14 / 7
[005] In the 1990s, electronic panels began to be installed on highways to provide real-time information, such as traffic conditions, weather alerts, and emergency warnings. Currently, variable message signs and illuminated road markings help manage traffic and reduce accidents.
[006] With the evolution of mobility, new solutions such as smart traffic lights connected to data networks and lights charged with solar energy are necessary to provide safer, more efficient and sustainable traffic. State of the Art Analysis
[007] Research conducted in specialized databases revealed documents related to luminous signals, such as document no. BR 202017019283-6, which deals with a LUMINOUS AND REFLECTIVE EMERGENCY SIGNALING DEVICE, a utility model patent for a luminous warning triangle. The objective of this patent is an emergency luminous and reflective signaling device, having a base 1 equipped with a compartment 2 that houses the electronic system, a Magnetic Sensor 3, and a flashing LED 4; said base 1 houses a blade 6 which joins the blade 7 at the top, both with circular cavities 8 and 9 that receive the screws 14 and 15 that fasten without pressing and allow displacement during assembly; said blades, 6, 7 and 16 having cavities 17 on the face, in which the retroreflective elements 18 are applied, in the cavities, 19 on the edges, 20 are placed fifteen LEDs 5 divided into groups of five; The said base 1, equipped with a 9v battery housing 21, is connected to the Magnetic Sensor 3, activated by the magnet 24 of the support 25. The base 1 has lateral columns 28 with the same dimensions as the support, equipped with limiters 29 and 30 that allow it to rotate 90° and be moved to the position for use. The lamps are positioned in a different region from the reflective face, which enhances the product's visibility, as it combines the visibility provided by the luminous devices with that provided by the reflective material, without one interfering with the other. [008] Document No. MU 5800453-0, which deals with a “ROAD LIGHTING SIGNAL, being a triangle, has three lanterns, one on each leg, fixed or movable, colored or not, with an electrical connection wire in an external socket of the vehicle, in parallel or not with the vehicle's turn signal.
[009] Document No. US2013049980A1 concerning a “LIGHT SIGNALING DEVICE”, a light signaling device including a tubular body having an outer surface to which LEDs are mechanically connected. An inner surface of the body defines a channel within the tubular body and has a heat dissipation unit through which the heat generated by the LEDs is dissipated. The light signaling device also comprises a lower air conveyor mechanically connected to the lower edge of the tubular body, partially closing the lower opening of the inner channel of the tubular body, and is provided with separate conveying channels, each of which extends between an inlet section thereof and an outlet section thereof according to a path that has at least one radial component with respect to the main extension axis. Each of the transport channels communicates with the exterior of the light signaling device through the inlet section and with the lower opening of the inner channel through the outlet section.
[010] Document No. US5706133A, which deals with “RETROREFLECTIVE SIGNAL ARTICLES, KITS FOR THEIR PRODUCTION AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING SIGNAL ARTICLES,” describes retroreflective signage articles comprising a dye layer directly thermally transferred to a top layer of a retroreflective film, the top layer being devoid of primer treatments and extraneous print reception layers. Systems or kits are also described comprising a retroreflective base film in combination with a thermal mass transfer donor element, the donor elements comprising a support and a dye layer adhered to it, the dye layer of the signage articles, and the donor elements comprising a binder and a dye. Methods of producing the signage articles employing the systems or kits are also presented. Petition 870250069502, dated 06 / 08 / 2025, page 6 / 14 / 7
[011] Although the models presented are used in the sector and perform their functions, they still lack solutions that would allow them to be used autonomously, without the need to be connected to a power source. This compromises the quality of visibility for drivers traveling on highways, streets and roads, especially at night, in rain, fog or dust.
[012] Furthermore, the production of certain components can directly impact the environment, harming conservation by depending on utility energy. Another problem occurs when these solutions are applied to unpaved roads, especially industrial or mining roads. Under these conditions, energy limitations and insufficient signage fail to prevent accidents.
[013] Thus, it is a fact that the documents cited in the paragraphs above, despite belonging to the same field of application, do not present any of the characteristics of the object now improved, thus guaranteeing that it meets the legal requirements for patentability. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[014] Taking into account all the problems that have been presented in the state of the art, the inventor, who has notorious knowledge of the sector, created and developed the aforementioned “AUTONOMOUS LIGHT SIGNALING AND ITS RESPECTIVE PROCESS OF OBTAINING IT”, which aims to improve visibility on roads, both during the day and at night, ensuring safety for vehicle traffic.
