Abstract
Diagnostic kit for confirmatory testing using the indirect ELISA method that measures the levels of native anti-hapten antibodies produced in a true infection, avoiding significant financial losses for the cattle farm, distinguishing false positives that present anti-LPS antibodies due to cross-reactions with enterobacteria and post-vaccination antibodies in the diagnosis of bovine brucellosis in individual and bulk blood serum and milk, characterized by using the crude native hapten antigen, extracted from the 16M strain of B.A lyophilization method is used to sensitize or antigenize plates at a known concentration (1 pg per well) without any purification treatment and with effective adhesion capacity. Positive and negative controls are subjected to lyophilization to ensure preservation, preventing contamination and degradation of the antibodies present, and guaranteeing the stability of the optical densities in said controls for a correct interpretation of the results in an indirect ELISA assay. A lyophilization method for controls that can be used in other diagnostic methods is also presented.
