Description
1 / 20 System of building elements for seamless assembly of building walls.
[0001] The object of the invention is a system of building elements for jointless assembly and dry assembly of building walls without the use of mortars or adhesives, suitable for residential and industrial construction.
[0002] A system of building elements for dry assembly of buildings is known from Polish patent no. PL220759, with profiled projections for coupling during assembly. It consists of modular building elements for assembling a wall, ceiling and roof, with a module composed of two elements adjacent on their sides connected by a third element and forming an interlocking connection, with the profiled projections of the building elements having two lateral coupling surfaces, guiding and interlocking, inclined at specific angles, angles α and β, with angle α in the range of 40°-50°, and angle β in the range of 6°-12°, with said angles defined respectively between a line perpendicular to the upper or lower surface of the projection and to the guide or interlocking surface.
[0003] A wall construction system consisting of a plurality of interlocking concrete blocks is also known from U.S. Patent No. 10941567. The interlocking blocks include one or more spread blocks, corner blocks, and half blocks. The system blocks include top and end shear bosses and bottom and end grooves. The bottom grooves fit inside the top bosses of the blocks at the bottom of the stacked blocks. The corner blocks provide means to form a corner and rotate the direction of the block's travel by 90°. The interlocking elements of the blocks allow the blocks to be dry-laid in successive layers to erect a wall or multi-wall structure. When stacked on top of each other in successive courses, the top and end ridges of each block engage with complementary grooves in underlying, overlapping, and adjacent blocks, thus allowing for quick self-alignment and interlocking of the blocks when stacked. [0004] The solutions known in the state of the art, despite using techniques employed for the continuous joining of elements, do not eliminate the so-called thermal bridges that occur at the locations where the elements are joined, at the vertical edges or at the corners of the walls.
[0005] The thermal insulation of a building is the second most important issue in choosing its construction material, the first being the guarantee of adequate resistance properties. Achieving appropriate thermal conductivity in the external walls of a building retains the thermal energy supplied to heat the interior of the building. Therefore, the objective of the invention was to develop a system for the seamless construction of building walls, in which the elements will be connected by geometric and technical solutions based on a system to couple individual elements, closing thermal bridges in the walls of erected buildings. In the solution according to the invention, the basic assumption was to eliminate thermal bridges and, in this way, ensure additional airtightness of the building wall partitions and limit the use of bonding and insulation materials, as well as improve the heat in the constructed buildings.

[0007] Preferably, the protrusions on the vertical coupling surfaces have a trapezoidal cross-section.
[0008] Preferably, the protrusions on the upper horizontal surfaces have chamfered edges.
[0009] Preferably, the center block, or the corner block, or the edge block has at least one utility opening.
[0010] Preferably, the central block has a half shape.
[0011] Preferably, the system includes lintels made of edge blocks, a rectangular beam and top blocks.

[0016] The solution according to the invention makes it possible to close thermal bridges at the joints of all coupling planes of building elements, including lintel beams, in order to obtain total insulation of the walls of constructed buildings, while maintaining the simplicity and convenience of a jointless connection, which was confirmed in the tests presented further in the description. The solution according to the invention has a unique system for connecting individual elements based on specially profiled geometric recesses and protrusions. The elements of the system are easy to install thanks to the so-called dry joint, without the use of wet mortars, adhesives and other products, and the coupling implemented. The elements of the system can be installed by unskilled workers working only under supervision or by future users of the building.Furthermore, the system according to the invention ensures easy transport and does not require heavy specialized equipment for installation, reducing construction time and significantly reducing financial costs. The use of the system according to the invention allows for the design of environmentally friendly and energy-efficient buildings.

[0043] The system of elements for dry assembly of building walls was subjected to thermal insulation tests, with the aim of confirming the adequate thermal conductivity of the building's external walls and the elimination of: Thermal bridges through the system according to the invention. Calculations were performed on the heat loss coefficient due to transfer to a building wall separating a heated space and an external environment. The calculations included the impact of linear thermal bridges occurring at the connections of building partitions (elements) to a load-bearing wall erected without the use of any insulating materials. The heat loss coefficient due to transfer is one of the data points used to calculate the annual energy demand for heating the building. Its component applies to heat transfer through a compartment separating a heated space and an external environment.
[0044] Heat transfer calculations were performed based on the PNEN 12831: 2006 standard. Wall 1

[0046] Heat transfer coefficient corrected for losses caused by linear thermal bridges: Ukc = Uk +D Utb = 0.29 + 0.05 = 0.34 W / m2 K
[0047] To determine the heat loss coefficient of a wall, it is necessary to determine its surface area and then multiply it by the heat transfer coefficient corrected for thermal bridges. A = 4.95 x 3.2 = 15.84 m2
[0048] Next, it is necessary to determine the heat loss due to transfer through the building wall: Petition 870250072862, dated 08 / 18 / 2025, page 19 / 325 16 / 20 Ht, ie = Ak x U kc = 15.84 x 0.34 = 5.386 W / K
[0049] Projected heat loss of heated space, assuming an internal temperature of 20 degrees and an external temperature of -20. Φt, i = H t, i.e. x (Θ i - Θ e) = 5.386 x [ 20 (20) ] = 215 W
[0050] Heat losses after eliminating heat losses caused by thermal bridges: Ht, ie = A kx U kc = 15.84 x 0.29 = 4.5936 W / K Φt, i = H t, i.e. x (Θ i-Θ e) = 4.5936 x [ 20 (20) ] = 184W
[0051] Eliminating thermal bridges allows for a saving of 31 W.
