DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE MODALITIES
[017] For those skilled in the art to better understand the technical solutions of the present application, the present application will be further described in detail in combination with drawings and embodiments, as follows.
[018] As shown in Figure 1, a frame of a trick frame includes a frame body 1 and multiple mounting seats 2 connected to the frame body 1.
[019] The frame body 1 mainly includes a crossbar and a side crossbar. In the embodiment illustrated in the Figure, the frame body 1 mainly includes a crossbar and two side crossbars, forming an H-shaped structure.
[020] Mounting seats 2 are configured to mount other components on the truck and typically include seats for mounting a brake hanger, a stabilizer bar, a locating swing arm, a chain catcher, a fuse box, a side stop, a side shock absorber, a pull rod, etc.
[021] The frame body 1 is made of a composite material and the mounting seats 2 include a composite mounting seat made of a composite material and a metal mounting seat made of a metal material. This combination of materials effectively reduces the weight of the frame while maintaining its strength. Specifically, the composite material can be carbon fiber reinforced composite material and the metal material can be low alloy steel, stainless steel, titanium alloy, etc.
[022] One or more metal junctions 3 may be provided in the composite frame body 1. As shown in Figure 1, the metal junction 3 is provided at one end of the side crossbar. Current in conductive parts of the frame may be directed and conducted outward from the metal junction 3, allowing Petition 870250089339, dated 10 / 01 / 2025, pp. 49 / 61 5 / 9 that electricity such as return current and static electricity are safely conducted out of the frame, thus ensuring safety during use. Specifically, the current from the conductive parts can be directed to the metal junction 3 through the inherent conductivity of the metallic components of the conductive parts or it can be directed to the metal junction 3 through connected wires, copper strips, etc.
[023] As shown in Figure 2, the composite frame body 1 and the metal mounting seat 2b are connected via a threaded fastener 5, riveted via a rivet member 4, and bonded with a structural adhesive 11. This combination of connection methods can ensure the strength of the connection between two components made of different materials.
[024] As shown in Figure 3, by appropriately providing the matched dimensions of the rivet member 4 and a riveting hole, an annular opening is formed between a peripheral surface of the rivet member 4 and the riveting hole. The annular opening is filled with a conductive medium 6, which may be conductive grease, conductive paste, etc. For illustrative purposes, such an arrangement is called an electrically conductive arrangement.
[025] Carbon fiber strands within the composite material would be exposed when the riveting hole is drilled in the composite frame body 1. Carbon fiber filaments have good electrical conductivity. With the above electrically conductive arrangement, the carbon fiber filaments conduct electricity through the conductive medium 6 to the metal rivet member 4, which further conducts electricity to the metal mounting seat 2b, thus achieving good electrical conductivity between the composite frame body 1 and the metal mounting seat 2b.
[026] Typically, the composite material includes a surface made of resin, which results in poor electrical conductivity of the composite material and thus electrical conduction cannot be effectively established when the composite material is connected to a metallic component. The electrically arranged Petition 870250089339, dated 10 / 01 / 2025, pages 50 / 61 The 6 / 9 conductor above effectively solves this problem, allowing for equipotential grounding between the composite component and the metallic component.
[027] When multiple rivet members 4 are connected to a single metal mounting seat 2b (for example, four rivets 4 are connected to the metal mounting seat as shown in Figure 2), the solution may be that only one or several of the rivet members 4 employ the above electrically conductive arrangement, while the remaining rivet members 4 are in a conventional arrangement. Evidently, theoretically, the rivet members 4 connected to the same metal mounting seat 2b may all employ the above electrically conductive arrangement.
[028] As shown in Figure 3, the structural adhesive 11 is provided at least between the mounting faces of the composite frame body 1 and the metal mounting seat 2b connected via the rivet member 4, and the two ends (ends A and B shown in Figure 3) of each of the rivet members 4 are in close contact with the riveted components. In this way, the annular opening between the rivet member 4 and the riveting hole becomes a sealed space so as to prevent leakage of the conductive medium 6 filled in the annular opening and to retard the oxidation failure of the conductive medium 6, thus ensuring electrical conductivity stability. Additionally, the structural adhesive 11 provided as described above effectively limits radial displacement of the rivet member 4 relative to the riveting hole, so that the annular opening filled with the conductive medium 6 can be kept stable, thus facilitating electrical conductivity stability.
[029] As shown in Figure 2, for the rivet member 4 and the threaded fastener 5 connected to the same metal mounting seat 2b, an included angle formed between a geometric axis of the rivet member 4 and a geometric axis of the threaded fastener 5 varies, preferably from 45 degrees to 90 degrees. That is, the rivet member 4 and the threaded fastener 5 are respectively mounted on two mounting faces of the same metal mounting seat 2b. Petition 870250089339, dated 10 / 01 / 2025, pages 51 / 61 7 / 9 forming an included angle of 45 degrees to 90 degrees. In this way, rivet member 4 is subjected to a reduced shear force due to its exploited compressive and axial tensile capabilities, and the displacement of rivet member 4 with respect to the riveting hole can be limited, thus further increasing the stability of the electrical conductivity.
[030] As shown in Figure 4, the threaded fastener 5 for the composite frame body 1 and a composite mounting seat 2a is in a mounting configuration as follows: two metal inserts 8 are incorporated into the composite frame body 1 and the composite mounting seat 2a respectively, the threaded fastener 5 is connected to the two metal inserts 8 and an electrical potential difference between each of the two metal inserts 8 and the threaded fastener 5 is less than a predetermined value. Specifically, both the metal inserts 8 and the threaded fastener 5 can be made of a high-potential metal material such as stainless steel or titanium alloy.
[031] With such a mounting configuration, the composite frame body 1 and the composite mounting seat 2a are electrically conducted to each other in the threaded fastener mounting position 5, increasing the electrical conductivity reliability of the entire frame.
[032] As shown in Figure 5, the threaded fastener 5 for the composite frame body 1 and the metal mounting seat 2b is in a mounting configuration as follows: a metal connector 9 is connected to the composite frame body 1, the threaded fastener 5 is connected to the metal connector 9 and an insulating layer 12 is provided between the metal connector 9 and the composite frame body 1.
[033] Specifically, as shown in Figure 5, the threaded fastener is a screw. A central through hole is formed in the metal connector 9 and the metal connector 9 has a large diameter portion 9a and a small diameter portion 9b provided sequentially in an axial direction. An anti-rotation notch 9c is Petition 870250089339, dated 10 / 01 / 2025, pages 52 / 61 8 / 9 formed in the large diameter portion 9a of the metal connector 9. A nut 10 is fixed in the anti-rotation notch 9c to prevent loosening. The small diameter portion 9b of the metal connector 9 is mounted in a hole formed in the composite frame body 1, with an insulating layer 12 provided between the small diameter portion 9b and this hole. The screw passes through a hole in the metal mounting seat 2b and into the small diameter portion 9b of the metal connector 9 sequentially and extends into the large diameter portion 9a of the metal connector 9 to be secured with the nut 10. An anti-loosening washer 7 is provided between a screw head portion and the metal mounting seat 2b. By selecting appropriate materials, an electrical potential difference between the anti-loosening washer 7, the screw, the nut 10, the metal connector 9, and the metal mounting seat 2b is limited to be less than a predetermined value. For example, when the metal mounting seat 2b is made of low-alloy steel, the anti-loosening washer 7, the screw, nut 10 and the metal connector 9 can also be made of low-alloy steel.
[034] With this mounting configuration, the composite frame body 1 and the metal mounting seat 2b, which are connected to each other, are isolated from each other at the threaded fastener mounting position 5, preventing a large potential difference that leads to electrochemical corrosion between two components made of different materials. The composite frame body 1 and the metal mounting seat 2b, which are connected to each other, are made electrically continuous by the above electrically conductive arrangement at riveting positions.
[035] In the embodiment shown in the figures according to the present application, the composite frame body 1 and the composite mounting seat 2a are connected via the threaded fastener 5 and electrical continuity is achieved at the mounting position of the threaded fastener 5. The composite frame body 1 and the metal mounting seat 2b are connected via the threaded fastener 5 and are riveted and joined, and the composite frame body 1 and the metal mounting seat 2b are insulated from each other at the mounting position of the Petition 870250089339, dated 10 / 01 / 2025, pages 53 / 61 9 / 9 threaded fastener 5 and electrical continuity is achieved in the riveting position.
[036] The principle and embodiments of the present application are illustrated in the present invention by specific examples. The above description of examples is intended only to aid in understanding the method and idea of the present application. It should be noted that, for those skilled in the art, some modifications and improvements may be made to the present application without departing from the principle of the present application, and such modifications and improvements are also considered to be included within the scope of the present application as defined by the claims.
