Description

1 / 57 LAMINATE FOR PACKAGING MATERIAL, PACKAGING CONTAINER, AND PACKAGING ARTICLE Technical Field

[0001] The present description refers to a laminate for packaging material, a packaging container, and a packaging article. State of the Art

[0002] Packaging materials used for packaging bags and the like are required to have various properties depending on the application. Therefore, to satisfy such various performances simultaneously, a packaging material is generally configured with a laminate including an outer layer substrate and a sealant layer. In this way, a laminate for packaging material is conventionally known as a laminate which includes a first layer comprising an inner lining and a second layer comprising an outer sheath, wherein the outer sheath is composed of a post-consumer resin (hereinafter also referred to as PCR) which may contain contaminants such as paper, ink, and food residues (see, for example, Patent Literature 1 below). Citation List Patent Literature

[0003] Patent Literature 1: JP 2022-552096A Summary of the Invention Technical Problem

[0004] However, the laminate described in Patent Literature 1 above has the following problems when the PCR content is increased, wherein PCR is a Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 22 / 85 2 / 57 Recycled resin containing contaminants, a so-called materially recycled resin. In other words, in the laminate described in Patent Literature 1, foreign matter such as impurities, gels, and aggregates may appear on the surface, and there was room for improvement in terms of hygienic properties. Additionally, in the laminate described in Patent Literature 1, odor components generated due to the thermal degradation of the polyolefin resin were detected, and there was also room for improvement in terms of quality.

[0005] One objective of the present description is to provide a laminate for packaging material, a packaging container, and a packaging article that can improve hygienic properties and quality even when the recycled resin content is sufficiently high. Solution to the Problem

[0006] One aspect of the present description provides a laminate for packaging material, comprising an outer layer substrate and a sealant layer, wherein the sealant layer is a polyolefin resin film comprising a recycled resin, the recycled resin content in the laminate for packaging material is 10% by volume or more or 10% by mass or more, and the recycled resin is a chemically recycled resin. According to the packaging material laminate described above, the sealant layer needs to have particularly high hygienic properties and high quality since it comes into contact with the contents contained in a packaging container obtained using the packaging material laminate. In contrast, in the packaging material laminate of the present description, the resin Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 23 / 85 3 / 57 of the recycled polyolefin resin film used as the sealant layer is a chemically recycled resin. Chemically recycled resin is a recycled resin produced by polymerizing it after being reduced once to a low molecular weight through a process carried out according to the material's properties, such as a monomerization process through naphtha-driven gasification, oil conversion, and purification of discarded resin, or a monomerization process by depolymerization. For this reason, chemically recycled resin is less likely to contain foreign matter such as impurities, gels, and aggregates, compared to a materially recycled resin, which is a resin rematerialized from raw material by washing and crushing resin products such as those collected from used packaging materials, and then heating and melting them.Additionally, unlike materially recycled resin, chemically recycled resin is not affected by heat treatment such as heating and melting after the recycling process, and thus thermal degradation is less likely to occur. Therefore, it is possible to achieve both a recycled resin content in the packaging material laminate of 10% by volume or more or 10% by mass or more, and an improvement in hygienic properties and quality. That is, the packaging material laminate of the present description can improve hygienic properties and quality even when the recycled resin content is sufficiently high.

[0007] The higher the content (usage ratio) of recycled resin in the laminate for material Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 24 / 85 4 / 57 of packaging, the more the environmental burden can be reduced. The recycled resin content is preferably 20% by mass or more, more preferably 25% by mass or more, even more preferably 30% by mass or more, and particularly preferably 40% by mass or more. Here, if it is not easy to calculate the mass ratio (% by mass) after the laminate for packaging material is transformed into a packaging material, the unit of recycled resin content can be % by volume so that it can be calculated by a film thickness ratio. That is, the ratio of the film thickness of the layer using recycled resin to the total film thickness of the laminate can be used as the recycled resin content (% by volume).Note that the density of polyethylene and polypropylene, which constitute the majority of the packaging material, is approximately 0.86 to 0.97 g / cm3, and the numerical range of the recycled resin content defined in % by volume will generally also satisfy the value defined in % by mass. That is, the recycled resin content in the laminate for packaging material is preferably 20% by volume or more, more preferably 25% by volume or more, even more preferably 30% by volume or more, and particularly preferably 40% by volume or more.

[0008] In the laminate for packaging material above, the thickness of the sealant layer may be greater than the thickness of the outer layer substrate, and the recycled resin content included in the sealant layer may be 20% by volume or more or 20% by mass or more. In the laminate for packaging material described above, the sealant layer occupies a large proportion of the laminate for packaging material, and using a resin film of Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 25 / 85 5 / 57 polyolefin containing a recycled resin as the sealant layer, the recycled resin content can be easily increased.

[0009] The above packaging material laminate may additionally comprise an intermediate substrate between the outer layer substrate and the sealant layer. In this case, since the outer layer substrate is reinforced by the intermediate substrate, the strength of the laminate can be further enhanced.

[00010] In the laminate for packaging material above, the recycled resin may be a post-consumer recycled (PCR) resin. Since a large quantity of PCR can be secured on the market, the cost of the laminate can be reduced. Note that recycled resin can be a combination of PCR and post-industrial recycled resin (PIR).

[00011] The above packaging material laminate may additionally comprise a gas barrier layer between the outer layer substrate and the sealant layer. In this case, the gas barrier property of the laminate is further enhanced. Therefore, when a packaging container is produced using the laminate and the contents are placed inside the container, deterioration of the contents due to gases such as oxygen can be effectively suppressed.

[00012] The above packaging material laminate may additionally comprise a second layer of sealant on an outer substrate surface opposite the sealant layer. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 26 / 85 6 / 57 This laminate for packaging material is suitable as a packaging material for the manufacture of a tube container.

[00013] Another aspect of the present description provides a packaging container obtained using the above-mentioned laminate for packaging material. According to the packaging container described above, in the laminate for packaging material, a polyolefin resin film comprising a recycled resin is used as the sealant layer. The recycled resin is a chemically recycled resin, and chemically recycled resin is less likely to contain foreign matter such as impurities, gels, and aggregates compared to a materially recycled resin. Additionally, unlike materially recycled resin, chemically recycled resin is not affected by heat treatment such as heating and melting after the recycling process, and thus thermal degradation is less likely to occur. Therefore, the packaging container obtained using the above packaging material laminate can safely accommodate contents such as food products even when the recycled resin content in the packaging material laminate is sufficiently increased to 10% by volume or more, or 10% by mass or more. In addition, since the packaging material laminate can enhance quality, the packaging container obtained using the packaging material laminate may have improved properties such as strength.

[00014] Another aspect of the present description provides for a packaging article, comprising: the container of Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 27 / 85 7 / 57 packaging above; and contents contained in the packaging container. According to the packaging article above, as described above, chemically recycled resin, such as the recycled resin included in the laminate sealant layer, is less likely to contain foreign matter such as impurities, gels, and aggregates compared to materially recycled resin. Additionally, unlike materially recycled resin, chemically recycled resin is not affected by heat treatment such as heating and melting after the recycling process, and thus thermal degradation is less likely to occur. Therefore, the above packaging article can be safely stored with contents such as food products inside, even when the recycled resin content in the laminate packaging material is sufficiently increased to 10% by volume or more, or 10% by mass or more.In addition, since laminate for packaging material can improve quality, the packaging article comprising the packaging container obtained using laminate for packaging material may have enhanced properties such as strength. Advantageous Effects of the Invention

[00015] According to the present description, a laminate for packaging material, a packaging container, and a packaging article are provided which can improve hygienic properties and quality even when the recycled resin content is sufficiently high. [Fig. 2] FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing another embodiment of the laminate for packaging material according to the present description. [Fig. 3] FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing another embodiment of the laminate for packaging material according to the present description. [Fig. 4] FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing an embodiment of a packaging article according to the present description. Description of the Implementations

[00017] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present description will be described in detail. In the drawings, the same parts or corresponding parts are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant descriptions are omitted.

[00018] [Laminate for packaging material] Firstly, an embodiment of a laminate for packaging material according to the present description will be described with reference to Figs. 1 to 3. Figs. 1 to 3 are cross-sectional views showing various embodiments of the laminate for packaging material according to the present description.

[00019] As shown in Fig. 1, a laminate for packaging material (hereinafter also referred to as laminate) 100 comprises an outer layer substrate 10 and a sealant layer 30. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 29 / 85 9 / 57 laminate 100 may additionally comprise an intermediate substrate 20 between the outer layer substrate 10 and the sealant layer 30. The recycled resin content in the laminate for packaging material 100 is 10% by volume or more, or 10% by mass or more. Here, the sealant layer 30 is made of a polyolefin resin film comprising a recycled resin, and the recycled resin is a chemically recycled resin.

[00020] Laminate 100 may additionally comprise a printed layer 50, as shown in Fig. 2. Laminate 100 may additionally comprise a gas barrier layer 60 along with the printed layer 50, as shown in Fig. 2, but it may additionally comprise the gas barrier layer 60 instead of the printed layer 50. When laminate 100 is used for a tube container, as shown in Fig. 3, laminate 100 may additionally comprise a second sealant layer 40 on one side of the outer layer substrate 10 opposite the sealant layer 30.

[00021] According to laminate 100, hygienic properties and quality can be improved even when the recycled resin content is sufficiently high.

[00022] (Outer layer substrate) For the outer layer substrate 10, a film substrate made of a resin material can be used. Examples of such resin material include polyester films such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polyethylene naphthalate (PEN), polyolefin resins such as Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 30 / 85 10 / 57 such as polyethylene and polypropylene, polystyrene, and engineering plastics such as polyamide like nylon 66, polycarbonate, polyacrylonitrile, and polyimide. As the resin material, a resin material having mechanical strength and dimensional stability is preferable. The resin material is processed into a film form and used as a film substrate.

[00023] The resin material can be non-recycled resin, recycled resin, or a mixture of both. Since the outer layer substrate 10 does not come into contact with the contents, when a recycled resin is used, a materially recycled resin can be used, but the use of a chemically recycled resin is preferable from the points of view of hygienic properties and quality. Non-recycled resin can be a petroleum-derived resin obtained using petroleum-derived feedstock monomers, a biomass-derived resin obtained using petroleum-derived feedstock monomers, or a mixture thereof, but from the point of view of reducing the environmental burden, a biomass-derived resin is preferable. Chemically recycled resin can be composed of a single type of chemically recycled resin, but it can also be composed of a mixture of multiple types of chemically recycled resins.

[00024] The outer layer substrate 10 can have a single-layer or multi-layer structure. In the case of a multi-layer structure, the outer layer substrate 10 is formed from a configuration of Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 31 / 85 11 / 57 layer of two or more layers, and at least one of the layers comprises a chemically recycled resin. Additionally, the outer layer substrate 10 may be a layer formed by co-extrusion of a multilayer film, if necessary, in a form that uses an adhesive resin or similar for a layer made of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer or a layer made of a polyamide, and stretching the resulting film. For example, a five-layer substrate of three types made of chemically recycled resin / adhesive resin / ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer / adhesive resin / chemically recycled resin, a three-layer substrate of three types made of chemically recycled resin / adhesive resin / ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, or a multilayer substrate made of petroleum-derived (natural) resin / chemically recycled resin / petroleum-derived (natural) resin or petroleum-derived (natural) resin / other polyolefin / chemically recycled resin / other resin / petroleum-derived (natural) resin, and the like may be cited. In a multilayer substrate 10, materials of the same type can have different densities depending on their function.

[00025] The outer layer substrate 10 may additionally contain additives such as a filler, an antistatic agent, a plasticizer, a lubricant, a light-shielding pigment, and an antioxidant, as needed. When the outer layer substrate 10 contains a light-shielding pigment, the outer layer substrate 10 can function as a light-shielding layer. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 32 / 85 12 / 57

[00026] The outer layer substrate 10 can be a non-oriented film or an oriented film. The oriented film can be a uniaxially oriented film or a biaxially oriented film. The outer layer substrate 10 can be composed of either an oriented or a non-oriented film. When the outer layer substrate 10 is uniaxially oriented, it is possible to improve the tearability and heat resistance of the laminate 100. When the outer layer substrate 10 is a biaxially oriented film, the mechanical strength and dimensional stability of the laminate 100 can be improved.

[00027] When an adhesive layer is provided on the surface of the outer layer substrate 10, various pretreatments such as corona treatment, plasma treatment, ozone treatment, or flame treatment can be applied to the surface on the adhesive layer side, or a coating layer such as an easy-adhesion layer can be provided, in order to enhance adhesion with the adhesive layer.

[00028] The thickness of the outer layer substrate 10 is not particularly limited, and is, for example, 10 µm or more and 100 µm or less. From the points of view of material reduction for environmental load reduction, and to obtain excellent heat resistance, impact resistance, and gas barrier properties, the thickness of the outer layer substrate 10 can be 15 µm or more, 20 µm or more, 25 µm or more, 30 µm or more, or 40 µm or more. The thickness of the outer layer substrate 10 can also be 60 µm or less, or 50 µm or less.

[00029] (Sealant layer) Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 33 / 85 13 / 57 The sealant layer 30 is made of a polyolefin resin film comprising a polyolefin resin such as polyethylene and polypropylene, and the polyolefin resin comprises a chemically recycled resin. Polyethylene is a resin containing ethylene as a structural unit. Examples of polyethylene include a homopolymer of ethylene and a copolymer of ethylene and another monomer. The proportion of ethylene in polyethylene is, for example, 80 mol% or more. Examples of the other monomer include, for example, an α-olefin, vinyl acetate, and an acrylic acid ester. An α-olefin can be an olefin having a carbon number in the range of 3 to 20. Examples of α-olefins include propylene, 1-butene, 1-pentene, 1-hexene, 1-octene, 1-decene, 1-dodecene, 1-tetradecene, 1-hexadecene, 1-octadecene, 1-eicosene, 3-methyl-1-butene, 4-methyl-1-pentene, or 6-methyl-1-heptene. Examples of polyethylene include high-density polyethylene (HDPE), medium-density polyethylene (MDPE), low-density polyethylene (LDPE), linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), very low-density polyethylene (VLDPE), ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ionomer resin, ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer, ethylene-methyl acrylate copolymer, ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer, and ethylene propylene copolymer. These can be used alone or in combination of two or more types.

[00030] Polypropylene is a resin containing propylene as a structural unit, and may not contain ethylene as a structural unit, or may be a copolymer with ethylene or various α-olefins as well as Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 34 / 85 14 / 57 Propylene alone. Examples of polypropylene include homopolypropylene, block polypropylene, and random polypropylene.

[00031] The sealant layer 30 preferably has a lower melting point than the melting point of the outer layer substrate 10. In this case, it becomes possible to heat melt the sealant layer 30 while suppressing the melting of the outer layer substrate 10 during the thermal sealing of the laminate 100. Additionally, by heating the laminate 100, the outer layer substrate 10 and the sealant layer 30 can be easily separated, and material recycling can be easily performed for each of the outer layer substrate 10 and the sealant layer 30.

[00032] The sealant layer 30 may additionally contain additives such as a flame retardant, a slip agent, an antiblocking agent, an antioxidant, a light stabilizer, an adhesion agent, an antistatic agent, and a light-shielding pigment, as needed. When the sealant layer 30 contains a light-shielding pigment, the sealant layer 30 can function as a light-shielding layer.

[00033] The sealant layer 30 can be composed of a single layer or a plurality of layers. When the sealant layer 30 is composed of a single layer, a polyolefin resin film comprising a chemically recycled resin (chemically recycled polyolefin resin) since the recycled resin is used for the sealant layer 30. In this case, it can also Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 35 / 85 15 / 57 contain a petroleum-derived polyolefin resin or a biomass-derived polyolefin resin. When contents are placed in a packaging container obtained using laminate 100, the sealant layer 30 becomes a layer that comes into contact with the contents. Since the sealant layer 30 is a polyolefin resin film comprising chemically recycled polyolefin resin, there is little foreign matter such as impurities, gels, and aggregates. This further reduces the possibility of foreign matter migrating into the contents during heating in the retort treatment or boiling treatment of the packaging container. For this reason, laminate 100 can be used with confidence to package contents such as food products. When sealant layer 30 is composed of a plurality of layers, all layers may be a polyolefin resin film comprising chemically recycled polyolefin resin, or it may have a multilayer structure of a non-recycled polyolefin resin film and a polyolefin resin film comprising chemically recycled polyolefin resin. When the plurality of layers is three layers, the plurality of layers can be composed of a first outer layer, an intermediate layer, and a second outer layer. For example, the first outer layer and the second outer layer can be made of a non-recycled polyolefin resin film, and the Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 36 / 85 16 / 57 intermediate layer can be made from a recycled polyolefin resin film. Additionally, sealant layer 30 can be colored white or similar. For example, a white sealant containing a white pigment based on titanium oxide can be used. Note that sealant layer 30 is not limited to a white sealant, and can be composed of a sealant of another color containing a pigment other than white.

[00034] The thickness of the sealant layer 30 is not particularly limited, and is adjusted appropriately according to the application of laminate 100 and similar. The thickness of the sealant layer 30 can be, for example, 10 pm or more, 25 pm or more, 30 pm or more, 40 pm or more, or 50 pm or more. The thickness of the sealant layer 30 can also be 100 pm or less, 80 pm or less, 60 pm or less, or 50 pm or less.

[00035] (Second layer of sealant) As with the second layer of sealant 40, the same sealant layer 30 described above can be used. The thickness of the second layer of sealant 40 may be the same as, or different from, the thickness of the first layer of sealant 30. The material constituting the second layer of sealant 40 may also be the same as, or different from, the material constituting the first layer of sealant 30.

[00036] (Intermediate substrate) Intermediate substrate 20 is a substrate that reinforces the outer layer substrate 10, and can further enhance the strength of the laminate 100. For intermediate substrate 20, a film substrate made of a resin material similar to the material of Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 37 / 85 17 / 57 resin used for the outer layer substrate 10 can be used. That is, examples of resin material include polyester films such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polyethylene naphthalate (PEN), polyolefin resins such as polyethylene and polypropylene, polystyrene, and engineering plastics such as polyamide like nylon 66, polycarbonate, polyacrylonitrile, and polyimide. As the resin material, a resin material having mechanical strength and dimensional stability is preferable. The resin material is processed into a film form and used as a film substrate. The film substrate can be a non-oriented film or an oriented film.

[00037] The intermediate substrate 20 can be a single layer or a laminate of multiple layers. When the intermediate substrate 20 consists of a single layer, the intermediate substrate 20 can be a recycled polyolefin resin film or a non-recycled polyolefin resin film. When the intermediate substrate 20 is composed of a plurality of layers, all layers may be a recycled polyolefin resin film, all layers may be a non-recycled polyolefin resin film, or some layers may be a non-recycled polyolefin resin film and the remainder may be a recycled polyolefin resin film. Note that provided the recycled resin content in laminate 100 is 10% by volume or more, or 10% by mass or more, a material other than the one described above may be used as the material constituting the intermediate substrate 20. For example, a polyethylene terephthalate resin could be used as the material constituting the intermediate substrate 20. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 38 / 85 18 / 57 can be used, although the ratio of polyolefin resin in the packaging material decreases. Additionally, if a polyethylene terephthalate resin produced by chemical recycling is used as the substrate for intermediate 20, it becomes possible to improve the recycled resin content. As the substrate for intermediate 20, a nylon resin film or similar can also be used. Additionally, as the nylon resin film, a nylon resin film produced by chemical recycling can be used. When the plurality of layers consists of three layers, it can be composed of a first outer layer, an intermediate layer, and a second outer layer. Here, the first outer layer and the second outer layer can be made of a non-recycled polyolefin resin film, and the intermediate layer can be made of a recycled polyolefin resin film. In this case, during retort treatment or boiling treatment of the packaging container, the possibility of foreign matter such as impurities, gels, and aggregates migrating from the intermediate substrate 20 through the sealant layer 30 to the contents upon heating can be further reduced. For this reason, laminate 100 can be used with confidence to package contents such as food products.

[00038] The thickness of the intermediate substrate 20 is not particularly limited, and is adjusted appropriately according to the application of laminate 100 and similar. The thickness of the intermediate substrate 20 can be, for example, 10 µm or more, 25 µm or more, 30 Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 39 / 85 19 / 57 pm or more, 40 μm or more, or 50 μm or more. The thickness of the intermediate substrate 20 can also be 100 pm or less, 80 pm or less, 60 pm or less, or 50 pm or less.

[00039] (Adhesive layer) Examples of adhesive layers include an adhesive layer formed using an adhesive, and an adhesive layer comprising an adhesive resin (hereinafter also referred to as an adhesive resin layer).

[00040] Examples of adhesives include well-known adhesives such as urethane-based adhesives, polyester-based adhesives, polyamide-based adhesives, epoxy-based adhesives, and isocyanate-based adhesives.

[00041] The adhesive may or may not contain biomass-derived components, but from the point of view of reducing the environmental burden, it preferably contains biomass-derived components. Specific examples of biomass-derived components include the DICDRY BM Series manufactured by DIC Corporation, and the ECOAD Series manufactured by Toyo Ink Co., Ltd.

[00042] The adhesive may be an adhesive containing an organic solvent or an adhesive not containing an organic solvent, but from the point of view of reducing the environmental burden, it is preferably an adhesive not containing an organic solvent (solvent-free adhesive).

[00043] The adhesive resin layer can be an extruded resin layer or a non-extruded resin layer. Adhesive resin is a thermoplastic adhesive resin that can be melted by heat, and it can be any resin that can be melted by heat and fused together. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 40 / 85 20 / 57 For example, resins such as low-density polyethylene, medium-density polyethylene, high-density polyethylene, linear low-density polyethylene, polypropylene, ethylene-propylene copolymer, methyl pentene polymer, or an acid-modified polyolefin-based resin obtained by modifying a polyolefin-based resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene with an unsaturated carboxylic acid such as acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, maleic acid, maleic anhydride, fumaric acid, or itaconic acid, may be used. The thickness of the adhesive layer is not particularly limited, and can be, for example, 1 µm or more. By setting the adhesive layer thickness to 1 µm or more, sufficient adhesive strength can be obtained. The adhesive layer thickness can be 2 µm or more. The thickness of the adhesive layer can be 50 µm or less, 5 µm or less, or 3 µm or less.

[00044] (Printed layer) As shown in Fig. 2 or Fig. 3, the printed layer 50 can be provided between layers or on the exterior of laminate 100. When the printed layer 50 is provided between layers, for example, on a surface opposite the side layer of sealant 30 (outer surface) as shown in Fig. 2 or Fig. 3. The printed layer 50 can be provided on a surface of the outer layer substrate 10 on the side of sealant layer 30 (inner surface). When the printed layer 50 is provided on the inner surface of the outer layer substrate 10, the printed layer 50 is protected by the substrate. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 41 / 85 21 / 57 of outer layer 10, so that deterioration of printed layer 50 can be avoided. When printed layer 50 is provided on the outer surface of the outer layer substrate 10 and printed layer 50 is the outermost layer in laminate 100, it becomes possible to easily remove printed layer 50 when recycling after disposal of a packaging body including laminate 100. When laminate 100 comprises intermediate substrate 20 as shown in Fig. 2 or Fig. 3, printed layer 50 can be provided on intermediate substrate 20. Here, printed layer 50 can be provided between outer layer substrate 10 and intermediate substrate 20 as shown in Fig. 2 or Fig. 3, or it can be provided between intermediate substrate 20 and sealant layer 30.

[00045] Additionally, when laminate 100 comprises the second sealant layer 40, the printed layer 50 may be provided on the second sealant layer 40. When the printed layer 50 is provided on the second sealant layer 40, by providing the printed layer 50 on a surface of the second sealant layer 40 opposite the outer layer substrate 10 (outer surface), it becomes possible to easily remove the printed layer 50 when recycling after disposal of a packaging body including laminate 100. Printed layer 50 is a layer for displaying characters, patterns, and the like, and can be created using ink.

[00046] Like ink, for example, an ink prepared by adding various pigments, a plasticizer, a drying agent, a stabilizer, and Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 42 / 85 22 / 57 similar to a binder resin such as a urethane-based, acrylic-based, nitrocellulose-based, or rubber-based resin can be used.

[00047] The ink may be a water-based ink or an oil-based ink, but a water-based ink is preferably used. As a water-based ink uses water or alcohol as a solvent, the environmental burden can be further reduced. In particular, when the adhesive is a solvent-free adhesive, the use of a water-based ink as the ink can significantly reduce the environmental burden. The ink may or may not be a biomass ink, but from the point of view of reducing the environmental burden, a biomass ink is preferably used. Here, biomass ink refers to an ink containing components obtained from biological resources (biomass) such as cotton, pulp, rice bran, vegetable oil, and angiosperm seeds. The ink can be recycled ink obtained through the collection and regeneration of used ink, or non-recycled ink, but from an environmental impact perspective, recycled ink is preferable. Additionally, an easily recyclable ink can also be used. By using an easily recyclable ink, it becomes possible to easily recycle the packaging after disposal. Specific examples of easily recyclable ink include SunSpectro Solvawash manufactured by DIC Corporation.

[00048] (Gas barrier layer) As shown in Fig. 2 or Fig. 3, laminate 100 may comprise a gas barrier layer 60 along with the printed layer 50, but it may also comprise the layer of Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, p. 43 / 85 23 / 57 gas barrier 60 in place of printed layer 50. The gas barrier layer 60 may be provided on at least one surface of the outer layer substrate 10. When the laminate 100 comprises the intermediate substrate 20, as shown in Fig. 2 or Fig. 3, the gas barrier layer 60 may be provided on at least one surface of the intermediate substrate 20. The 60 gas barrier layer is a layer that enhances the gas barrier properties of the 100 laminate. The gas barrier layer 60 has a barrier property against gases such as water vapor or oxygen, for example.

[00049] As a gas barrier layer 60, for example, a vapor-deposited layer such as a vapor-deposited layer of a metal or a vapor-deposited layer of an inorganic compound can be used. Examples of metals include aluminum and silicon. Examples of inorganic oxides include aluminum oxide and silicon oxide (silica). When the gas barrier layer 60 is a vapor-deposited layer of a metal such as aluminum, the gas barrier layer 60 can function as a light shielding layer. The gas barrier layer 60 may additionally comprise a coating layer in the vapor-deposited layer. As the coating layer, a coating layer obtained using a composition containing a water-soluble polymer and a silicon alkoxide, or a coating layer made of a resin such as urethane may be used. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 44 / 85 24 / 57

[00050] (Other layers) Laminate 100 may additionally comprise a layer containing a resin other than a polyolefin resin (non-polyolefin resin), provided that the recycled resin content is 10% by volume or more or 10% by mass or more. Examples of non-polyolefin resins include polyamide resins such as nylon, and polyester resins such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET).

[00051] (Laminate) (A) Recycled Resin Content In laminate 100, the recycled resin content is 10% by volume or more, or 10% by mass or more. Note that when the recycled resin content in the polyolefin resin film comprising the recycled resin is 100% by volume (100% by mass), the recycled resin content in the laminate 100 can be determined as the ratio of the total film thickness to the total laminate thickness 100. However, when the recycled resin content in the polyolefin resin film comprising the recycled resin is X% by mass (less than 100% by mass) and the film thickness is Y1 (pm), the recycled resin content is calculated, where the thickness Y2 (pm) of the film is taken as X / 100 χ Y1 (pm). The recycled resin content in laminate 100 is preferably 20% by volume or more, or 20% by mass or more, more preferably 25% by volume or more, or 25% by mass or more, even more preferably 30% by volume or more, or 30% by mass or more, and particularly Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 45 / 85 25 / 57 preferably 40% by volume or more or 40% by mass or more.

[00052] In the present description, recycled resin is chemically recycled resin and does not include materially recycled resin. Chemically recycled resin can be post-consumer recycled resin (PCR), post-industrial recycled resin (PIR), or a mixture thereof, but is preferably PCR. As a large quantity of PCR can be secured on the market, if the chemically recycled resin is PCR, the cost of laminate 100 can be reduced.

[00053] (B) Odor component For laminate 100, in a total ion chromatogram obtained by performing mass spectrometry using a gas-trapped and purge chromatography mass spectrometry method, where a ratio of a nonanal peak area as an indicator of an odor component to a sum of peak area values of a total aliphatic hydrocarbon component is RI (%), and a ratio of a decanal peak area to the sum of peak area values of the total aliphatic hydrocarbon component is R2 (%), RI is preferably less than 1.5%, more preferably 1.0% or less, and particularly preferably 0.5% or less. Additionally, R2 is preferably less than 3.5%, more preferably 2.5% or less, and particularly preferably 1.5% or less. It is preferable that RI be less than 1.5% and R2 be less than 3.5%. In this case, thermal degradation is suppressed in laminate 100 as a whole, and the quality of laminate 100 can be further improved. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 46 / 85 26 / 57 Specifically, mass spectrometry is performed by cutting a 1.0 gram sample from slide 100, placing this sample in a 20 mL vial with an odor component trap, heating at 60°C for 1 hour to adsorb volatile components from the sample onto the trap, and analyzing the volatile components in the trap with a trapped gas chromatography mass spectrometer.

[00054] (C) Fish eye A fish eye refers to foreign matter such as fish-eye spots (gelled materials) or charred materials observed in a film. The presence of a fish eye with a diameter of 1 mm or more is considered a defective product, and the number of fish eyes with a diameter of 0.5 mm or more and less than 1 mm is preferably 100 / m2 or less, more preferably 50 / m2 or less, and particularly preferably 10 / m2 or less.

[00055] (D) Variation of dynamic frictional force On the surface of sealant layer 30 of laminate 100, the variation (variation in the plane) σ of the dynamic frictional force refers to the standard deviation of the dynamic frictional force. σ is preferably less than 0.45, more preferably less than 0.35, and particularly preferably less than 0.2. When σ is less than 0.45, the transport capacity of laminate 100 can be improved when it is transported with the layer having σ less than 0.45 facing the side of the transport roll. Additionally, on the surface of the layer, regions where the dynamic frictional force received from the roll is... Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, p. 47 / 85 27 / 57 transport is large and regions where it is small appear, and the difference in stress between these regions becomes smaller. Therefore, residual deformation within the layer is reduced, and a decrease in the strength of the 100 laminate due to residual stress can also be suppressed. From the point of view of the strength of the laminate, σ is preferably 0.1 or more, more preferably 0.2 or more, and particularly preferably 0.3 or more. The dynamic coefficient of friction is measured for laminate 100 using a TL201Tt multi-functional dynamic and static friction tester (manufactured by Trinity-Lab Inc.) and a tactile probe. The standard deviation σ of the dynamic frictional force is a value obtained based on JIS K 7125-ISO 8295. Specifically, it is determined by positioning laminate 100 on a test table with the sealant layer 30 facing down, and moving the tactile probe at a sliding speed of 10 mm / s while in contact with laminate 100 under a load of 50 grams.

[00056] (E) Impurity When laminate 100 is analyzed using a Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FT-IR) by an Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) method to obtain an ATR spectrum, a ratio R3 of a C=O absorption coefficient stretching around 1720 cm⁻¹ derived from polyester and polyurethane to an antisymmetric CH methylene group absorption coefficient stretching around 2915 cm⁻¹ derived from polyethylene in the ATR spectrum is, as an indicator, the amount of resin components. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 48 / 85 28 / 57 different from polyolefin is small, preferably less than 0.1, more preferably less than 0.05, and particularly preferably 0.01 or less. In the analysis above, a diamond prism is used as a prism to be placed in contact with laminate 100, and an angle of incidence with respect to the surface of laminate 100 is 45°.

[00057] When laminate 100 includes outer layer substrate 10 and sealant layer 30, both outer layer substrate 10 and sealant layer 30 may be a recycled polyolefin resin film.

[00058] [Packaging article] Next, an embodiment of a packaging article according to another aspect of the present description will be described with reference to FIG. 4. Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing an embodiment of a packaging article according to another aspect of the present description. As shown in Fig. 4, a packaging article 500 comprises a packaging bag 400 as a packaging container, and contents C accommodated in the packaging bag 400. The packaging bag 400 is obtained using a pair of laminates 100. The packaging bag 400 is obtained, for example, by facing the sealant layers 30 of a pair of laminates 100 towards each other and sealing the peripheral edges. The packaging bag 400 is configured with an accommodation part that accommodates the contents C, and a sealed part provided around the accommodation part. The sealed part is a portion formed by sealing the sealant layers 30 of the opposing laminates 100 together, and the part Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 49 / 85 29 / 57 accommodation is a portion where the sealant layers 30 of the opposing laminates 100 are not sealed to each other.

[00059] According to packaging article 500, chemically recycled resin, such as the recycled resin included in laminate 100, is less likely to contain foreign matter such as impurities, gels, and aggregates, compared to materially recycled resin, which is a resin rematerialized from raw material by washing and crushing resin products such as those collected from used packaging materials, and then heating and melting them. Additionally, unlike materially recycled resin, chemically recycled resin is not affected by heat treatment such as heating and melting after the recycling process, and thus thermal degradation is less likely to occur. Therefore, packaging article 500 can safely accommodate contents C such as food products even when the recycled resin content in laminate 100 is increased sufficiently to 10% by volume or more or 10% by mass or more.In addition, since laminate 100 can improve quality, packaging article 500 comprising packaging bag 400 obtained using laminate for packaging material 100 can have enhanced properties such as strength.

[00060] (Contents) The contents of category C are not particularly limited and can be selected appropriately according to the application of the 400 packaging bag. The contents of category O are not particularly limited, and examples of contents of category O include food, shampoo, cream, body soap, and detergent. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 50 / 85 30 / 57

[00061] (Packaging bag) The pair of 100 laminates forming the 400 packaging bag may have the same configuration as each other, or they may have different configurations from each other.

[00062] The 400 packaging bag may comprise a half-cut line, and may further comprise an easy-open processed part on both sides or one end of the half-cut line. Examples of the easy-open processed part include a group of scores, and V-shaped, U-shaped, or I-shaped notches.

[00063] In the sealed part of the packaging bag 400, the sealant layers 30 of the laminate pair 100 can be directly sealed to each other by heat sealing (here Fig. 4), or they can be sealed to each other with an adhesive.

[00064] (Packaging Article Manufacturing Method) The following is an example of a method for manufacturing packaging article 500 using laminate 100.

[00065] First, a pair of laminates 100 is prepared. Then, the sealant layers 30 of the pair of laminates 100 are made to face each other, and the sealant layers 30 are sealed together. At this point, a portion of the peripheral edge of the laminate is sealed in such a way as to form a U-shape to form a sealed portion, and an unsealed portion (unsealed part) is formed. In this way, a packaging bag having an opening formed by the unsealed part is obtained.

[00066] Next, the contents of section C are filled in by opening the packaging bag. Next, the Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 51 / 85 31 / 57 layers of sealant 30 of laminate 100 are sealed to each other in the unsealed part, so that the unsealed part also becomes a sealed part. In this way, the packaging article 500 comprising the packaging bag 400 and the contents C accommodated therein can be manufactured.

[00067] Although preferred embodiments of the present description have been described above, the present description is not limited to the above embodiments. For example, in packaging article 500 shown in Fig. 4, the packaging bag 400 is formed using a pair of laminates 100, but a laminate 200 can be used in place of laminate 100. The packaging bag can also be manufactured by folding a single laminate 100, 200 with the sealant layer 30 inside, and sealing the overlapping peripheral edges together.

[00068] In packaging article 500 shown in Fig. 4, packaging pouch 400 may be a stand-up pouch, a double-seal pouch, a triple-seal pouch, a quadruple-seal pouch, a fin-seal pouch, or a gusset pouch. Packaging pouch 400 may comprise a nozzle, or a synthetic resin fastener that can be repeatedly sealed by fitting a band-shaped projection portion and a band-shaped groove portion.

[00069] In the above embodiments, the packaging container is configured with a packaging bag, but the packaging container may be a tube container. When the packaging container is a tube container, the laminate 100 comprises the second layer of sealant 40 bonded to the outer layer substrate 10. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 52 / 85 32 / 57

[00071] The present description will be further detailed by the following Examples, but the present description is not limited to these Examples.

[00072] (Example 1) A biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) was prepared as an outer layer substrate, and a chemically recycled low-density polyethylene film (PCR-Chemi R 100%LDPE) (50 µm thick) was prepared as a sealant layer. Note that PCR-Chemi R 100%LDPE means that the chemically recycled post-consumer resin (PCR-Chemi R) content in the sealant layer is 100% by volume (100% by mass). Then, after forming a printed layer on the surface of the outer layer substrate with a water-based flexographic ink, a dry lamination adhesive (urethane-based adhesive) was applied to the surface of the printed layer to form an adhesive layer with a thickness of 3 µm (dry film thickness), and the sealant layer was laminated to the adhesive layer to produce a laminate for the material. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 54 / 85 34 / 57 packaging (outer layer substrate / printed layer / adhesive layer / sealant layer).

[00073] (Example 2) A biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) was prepared as an outer layer substrate, a biaxially oriented PET film (35 µm thick) was prepared as an intermediate substrate, and a chemically recycled low-density polyethylene film (PCR-Chemi R 100%LDPE) (50 µm thick) was prepared as a sealant layer. Note that PCR-Chemi R 100%LDPE means that the chemically recycled post-consumer resin (PCR-Chemi R) content in the sealant layer is 100% by volume (100% by mass). Then, aluminum oxide with a thickness of 10 nm was vapor-deposited onto the surface of the intermediate substrate, and an organic-inorganic hybrid layer with a thickness of 300 nm was provided as a coating layer on the resulting vapor-deposited layer. The organic-inorganic hybrid layer was formed using a composition containing a polyvinyl alcohol resin and tetraethoxysilane. Following the formation of a printed layer on the outer substrate surface using a water-based flexographic ink, a dry lamination adhesive (urethane-based adhesive) was applied to the printed layer surface to form a first adhesive layer with a thickness of 3 µm (dry film thickness), and the intermediate substrate coating layer was laminated onto the first adhesive layer. Subsequently, a dry lamination adhesive was applied. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 55 / 85 35 / 57 (urethane-based adhesive) was applied to the intermediate substrate surface opposite the coating layer to form a second adhesive layer with a thickness of 3 µm (dry film thickness), and the sealant layer was laminated to the second adhesive layer to produce a laminate for packaging material (outer layer substrate / printed layer / first adhesive layer / coating layer / vapor-deposited layer / intermediate substrate / second adhesive layer / sealant layer).

[00074] (Example 3) A laminate for packaging material (outer layer substrate / printed layer / adhesive layer / sealant layer) was produced in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the outer layer substrate was changed from a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) to a biaxially oriented biomass-derived PET film (35 µm thick), the sealant layer was changed from a chemically recycled low-density polyethylene film (PCR-Chemi R 100%-LDPE) (50 µm thick) to a chemically recycled low-density polyethylene film (PCR-Chemi R 40%-LDPE) (50 µm thick), and the adhesive was changed from a dry lamination adhesive (urethane-based adhesive) to a solvent-free adhesive (polyester-based) to form an adhesive layer with a thickness of 1.5 µm (after drying). Note that PCR-Chemi R 40%-LDPE means that the chemically recycled post-consumer resin (PCRChemi R) content in the sealant layer is 40% by mass. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 56 / 85 36 / 57

[00075] (Example 4) A laminate for packaging material (outer layer substrate / printed layer / first adhesive layer / coating layer / vapor-deposited layer / intermediate substrate / second adhesive layer / sealer layer) was produced in the same manner as in Example 2, except that the intermediate substrate was changed from a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) to a petroleum-derived polyamide film (nylon 6: 35 µm thick), and the sealer layer was changed from a chemically recycled low-density polyethylene film (PCR-Chemi R 100%-LDPE) (50 µm thick) to a three-layer coextruded film of a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 µm thick), a chemically recycled low-density polyethylene film (PCR-Chemi R 100%-LDPE) (20 µm thick). ,and a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 µm thick).

[00076] (Example 5) A laminate for packaging material (outer layer substrate / printed layer / first adhesive layer / coating layer / vapor-deposited layer / intermediate substrate / second adhesive layer / sealer layer) was produced in the same manner as in Example 2, except that the outer layer substrate was changed from a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) to a petroleum-derived polyamide film (nylon 6: 35 µm thick), and the sealer layer was changed from a polyethylene film. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 57 / 85 37 / 57 chemically recycled low-density polyethylene (PCR-Chemi R 100%-LDPE) (50 µm thick) for a three-layer coextruded film of a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 µm thick), a chemically recycled low-density polyethylene (PCR-Chemi R 100%-LDPE) film (20 µm thick), and a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 µm thick).

[00077] (Example 6) A laminate for packaging material (outer layer substrate / printed layer / first adhesive layer / coating layer / vapor-deposited layer / intermediate substrate / second adhesive layer / sealer layer) was produced in the same manner as in Example 2, except that the outer layer substrate was changed from a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) to a petroleum-derived oriented polypropylene (OPP) film (35 µm thick), and the intermediate substrate was changed from a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) to a petroleum-derived oriented polypropylene (OPP) film (35 µm thick). The sealant layer was changed from a chemically recycled low-density polyethylene film (PCR-Chemi R 100% LDPE) (50 µm thick) to a non-oriented polypropylene film (PCR-Chemi R 40% CPP) (50 µm thick) containing 40% by mass of chemically recycled polypropylene. Note that the vapor-deposited layer on the OPP film of the intermediate substrate was formed by vapor deposition of silicon oxide to a thickness of 10 nm. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 58 / 85 38 / 57 and the coating layer was an organic-inorganic hybrid layer formed using a composition containing a polyvinyl alcohol resin, tetraethoxysilane, and a silane coupling agent.

[00078] (Example 7) A laminate for packaging material (outer layer substrate / printed layer / first adhesive layer / coating / vapor-deposited layer / intermediate substrate / second adhesive layer / sealant layer) was produced in the same manner as in Example 2, except that the outer layer substrate was changed from a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) to a petroleum-derived oriented polypropylene (OPP) film (25 µm thick), and the intermediate substrate was changed from a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) to a petroleum-derived oriented polypropylene (OPP) film (25 µm thick). Note that the vapor-deposited layer on the OPP film of the intermediate substrate was formed by vapor deposition of silicon oxide to a thickness of 10 nm, and the coating layer was an organic-inorganic hybrid layer formed using a composition containing a polyvinyl alcohol resin, tetraethoxysilane, and a silane coupling agent.

[00079] (Example 8) A laminate for packaging material (outer layer substrate / printed layer / first adhesive layer / coating layer / vapor-deposited layer / intermediate substrate / second layer of Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 59 / 85 39 / 57 adhesive / sealant layer) was produced in the same manner as in Example 7, except that the outer layer substrate was changed from a petroleum-derived oriented polypropylene (OPP) film (25 µm thick) to a biomass-derived oriented polypropylene (OPP) film (25 µm thick), and the sealant layer was changed from a chemically recycled low-density polyethylene (PCR-Chemi R 100%-LDPE) film (50 µm thick) to a three-layer coextruded film of a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 µm thick), a chemically recycled low-density polyethylene (PCR-Chemi R 100%-LDPE) film (20 µm thick), and a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 µm thick).

[00080] (Example 9) A biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (30 µm thick) was prepared as an outer layer substrate; a three-layer coextruded film of a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 µm thick), a chemically recycled low-density polyethylene film (PCRChemi R 100%-LDPE) (40 µm thick), and a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 µm thick) was prepared as a sealant layer; and a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (80 µm thick) was prepared as a second sealant layer (outer sealant layer). Note that PCR-Chemi R 100%-LDPE means that the chemically recycled post-consumer resin content (PCR-Chemi R) in Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, pages 60 / 85 40 / 57 a PCR-Chemi R 100%-LDPE film sealant layer is 100% by volume (100% by mass). Then, after forming a printed layer on a surface of the second sealant layer (outer sealant layer) with a water-based flexographic ink, a dry lamination adhesive (urethane-based adhesive) was applied to a surface of the outer layer substrate to form a first adhesive layer with a thickness of 3 µm (dry film thickness), and the outer layer substrate and the surface of the second sealant layer (outer sealant layer) opposite the printed layer were laminated by the first adhesive layer.Subsequently, a dry lamination adhesive (urethane-based adhesive) was applied to another surface of the outer layer substrate to form a second adhesive layer with a thickness of 3 µm (dry film thickness), and the sealant layer was laminated to the second adhesive layer to produce a laminate for packaging material (printed layer / second sealant layer (outer sealant layer) / first adhesive layer / outer layer substrate / second adhesive layer / sealant layer).

[00081] (Example 10) A laminate for packaging material (printed layer / second sealant layer (outer sealant layer) / first adhesive layer / outer layer substrate / second adhesive layer / sealant layer) was produced in the same manner as in Example 9, except that the outer layer substrate was changed from a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (30 µm thick) to a polypropylene film. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, pp. 61 / 85 41 / 57 oriented petroleum-derived (OPP: 30 pm thickness), and the second sealant layer (outer sealant layer) was changed from a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (80 pm thickness) to a three-layer coextruded film of a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 pm thickness), a chemically recycled low-density polyethylene film (PCR-Chemi R 100%-LDPE) (40 pm thickness), and a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 pm thickness). Note that the vapor-deposited layer on the OPP film of the outer layer substrate was formed by vapor deposition of silicon oxide to a thickness of 10 nm, and the coating layer was an organic-inorganic hybrid layer formed using a composition containing a polyvinyl alcohol resin, tetraethoxysilane, and a silane coupling agent.

[00082] (Comparative Example 1) A biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) was prepared as an outer layer substrate, and a post-consumer mechanically recycled (PCMR 100%-LDPE) film (60 µm thick) from used polyethylene bags was prepared as a sealant layer. Note that PCMR 100%-LDPE means that the post-consumer mechanically recycled resin (PCMR) content in the outer layer substrate is 100% by volume (100% by mass). Then, a printed layer was formed on the surface of the outer layer substrate using a water-based flexographic ink, and an adhesive for dry lamination (urethane-based adhesive) was applied to the Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, page 62 / 85 42 / 57 The surface of the printed layer was laminated to form an adhesive layer with a thickness of 3 µm (dry film thickness), and the sealant layer was laminated to the adhesive layer to produce a laminate for packaging material (outer layer substrate / printed layer / adhesive layer / sealant layer).

[00083] (Comparative Example 2) A laminate for packaging material (outer layer substrate / printed layer / adhesive layer / sealer layer) was produced in the same manner as in Comparative Example 1, except that the outer layer substrate was changed from a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) to a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (50 µm thick), and the sealer layer was changed from a 100%-LDPE PCMR film (60 µm thick) to a low-density polyethylene (40%-LDPE PCMR) film (60 µm thick) obtained by mixing low-density polyethylene (PCMR-LDPE) pellets obtained by washing and mechanically recycled used polyethylene bags and petroleum-derived LDPE pellets in a ratio of 40:60 (mass ratio). Note that PCMR 40%-LDPE means that the post-consumer mechanically recycled resin (PCMR) content in the sealant layer is 40% by mass. In this case, the volume of the layer using the recycled material can be calculated taking into account the density of the blended resin, and this can be used to calculate the film thickness ratio. Note that the densities of the blended resins are the same, and % by mass is % by volume. Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, pp. 63 / 85 43 / 57 The density of the 40%-LDPE PCMR film used for the sealant layer was set to a low density (0.920 g / cm3).

[00084] (Comparative Example 3) A biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) was prepared as an outer layer substrate, a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) was prepared as an intermediate substrate, and a three-layer coextruded film of a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 µm thick), a materially recycled low-density polyethylene (PCMR 100%-LDPE) film (20 µm thick) from used polyethylene bags, and a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 µm thick) was prepared as a sealant layer. A printed layer was then formed on the surface of the outer layer substrate using a water-based flexographic ink. A dry lamination adhesive (urethane-based adhesive) was applied to the surface of the printed layer to form a first adhesive layer with a thickness of 3 µm (dry film thickness), and the intermediate substrate was laminated to the first adhesive layer. Subsequently, a dry lamination adhesive (urethane-based adhesive) was applied to the surface of the intermediate substrate opposite the first adhesive layer to form a second adhesive layer with a thickness of 3 µm (dry film thickness), and the sealant layer was laminated to the second adhesive layer to produce a packaging material laminate (layer substrate). Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, pages 64 / 85 44 / 57 outer layer / printed layer / first adhesive layer / intermediate substrate / second adhesive layer / sealant layer).

[00085] (Comparative Example 4) A laminate for packaging material (outer layer substrate / printed layer / first adhesive layer / intermediate substrate / second adhesive layer / sealer layer) was produced in the same manner as in Comparative Example 3, except that the outer layer substrate was changed from a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) to a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived polypropylene (OPP) film (35 µm thick), the intermediate layer was changed from a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (35 µm thick) to a biaxially oriented petroleum-derived polypropylene (OPP) film (35 µm thick), and the sealer layer was changed from a three-layer coextruded film of a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film (20 µm thick).A materially recycled low-density polyethylene film (PCMR 100%-LDPE) (20 µm thick) from used polyethylene bags, and a petroleum-derived low-density polyethylene film (LDPE) (20 µm thick) for a materially recycled low-density polyethylene film (PCMR 100%-LDPE) (50 µm thick) from used polyethylene bags.

[00086] (Comparative Example 5) A biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (50 µm thick) was prepared as a Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, pages 65 / 85 45 / 57 outer layer substrate, a low-density polyethylene (PCMR 40%-LDPE) film (80 µm thick) obtained by mixing low-density polyethylene (PCMR-LDPE) pellets obtained by washing and mechanically recycled used polyethylene bags and petroleum-derived LDPE pellets in a ratio of 40:60 (mass ratio) was prepared as a sealant layer, and a low-density polyethylene (PCMR 40%-LDPE) film (80 µm thick) obtained by mixing low-density polyethylene (PCMR-LDPE) pellets obtained by washing and mechanically recycled used polyethylene bags and petroleum-derived LDPE pellets in a ratio of 40:60 (mass ratio) was prepared as a second sealant layer (outer sealant layer). Note that PCMR 40%-LDPE means that the post-consumer mechanically recycled resin (PCMR) content in the sealant layer or the second sealant layer is 40% by mass.In this case, the volume of the sealant layer or the second sealant layer can be calculated taking into account the density of the mixed resin, and this can be used to calculate the film thickness ratio. Note that the densities of the mixed resins are the same, and % by mass is % by volume. The density of the 40% PCMR-LDPE film used for the outer layer substrate was set to a low density (0.920 g / cm3). Then, after forming a printed layer on one surface of the second sealant layer (outer sealant layer) with a water-based flexographic ink, a dry lamination adhesive (urethane-based adhesive) was applied to one surface of the outer layer substrate to form a first adhesive layer with a Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, pages 66 / 85 46 / 57 thickness of 3 µm (dry film thickness), and the outer layer substrate and the surface of the second sealant layer (outer sealant layer) opposite the printed layer were laminated together by the first adhesive layer. Subsequently, a dry lamination adhesive (urethane-based adhesive) was applied to another surface of the outer layer substrate to form a second adhesive layer with a thickness of 3 µm (dry film thickness), and the sealant layer was laminated to the second adhesive layer to produce a packaging material laminate (printed layer / second sealant layer (outer sealant layer) / first adhesive layer / outer layer substrate / second adhesive layer / sealant layer).

[00087] (Example of Reference 1) A biaxially oriented petroleum-derived PET film (25 µm thick) was prepared as an outer layer substrate, and a petroleum-derived LDPE film (60 µm thick) was prepared as a sealant layer. So, a printed layer was formed on the surface of the outer layer substrate with a water-based flexographic ink, a dry lamination adhesive (urethane-based adhesive) was applied to the surface of the printed layer to form an adhesive layer with a thickness of 3 µm (dry film thickness), and the sealant layer was laminated to the adhesive layer to produce a laminate for packaging material (outer layer substrate / printed layer / adhesive layer / sealant layer).

[00088] [Recycled Resin Content] Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, pages 67 / 85 47 / 57 For the packaging material laminates of the Examples, Comparative Examples, and Reference Example produced as described above, the recycled resin content in the packaging material laminate was calculated based on the following formula. Recycled resin content = 100 χ total thickness of layers comprising recycled resin / total thickness of laminate for packaging material However, when a layer comprising recycled resin is a layer containing both recycled resin and a resin derived from petroleum or biomass, a value obtained by multiplying the thickness of this layer by the content (% by mass) of recycled resin in the layer was used as the value for the thickness of the layer comprising recycled resin.

[00089] [Evaluation] The packaging material laminates from the Examples, Comparative Examples, and Reference Example produced as described above were subjected to Assessment 1 (odor component generation), Assessment 2 (fish eye), Assessment 3 (impurity), and Assessment 4 (dynamic frictional force variation) as follows. Here, Assessment 1 is a quality-related assessment, and Assessments 2 and 3 are hygienic property-related assessments.

[00090] (1) Assessment 1 (Odor Component Generation) Firstly, the packaging material laminate was analyzed using a trapped gas chromatography mass spectrometry method. Specifically, a 1.0 gram sample was cut from the packaging material laminate; this sample Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, pages 68 / 85 Sample 48 / 57 was placed in a 20 mL vial with an odor component trap, heated to 60°C for 1 hour to adsorb volatile components from the sample onto the trap, and the volatile components in the trap were analyzed using a mass spectrometer - trapped and purged gas chromatography to obtain a total ion chromatogram. Next, in the total ion chromatogram obtained as described above, an RI ratio of a nonanal peak area as an indicator of an odor component to a sum of peak area values of a total aliphatic hydrocarbon component, and an R2 ratio of a decanal peak area to the sum of peak area values of the total aliphatic hydrocarbon component were evaluated. Therefore, an evaluation was carried out based on the following evaluation criteria. The results are shown in Tables 1 to 3. (Evaluation Criteria) ©: RI is less than 1.5% and R2 is less than 0.35%; RI is less than 1.5% and R2 is 0.35% or more; If the risk of infection (RI) is 1.5% or higher and the relative probability (R²) is less than 0.35%, then the risk of infection (RI) is 1.5% or higher and the relative probability (R²) is 0.35% or higher.

[00091] (2) Assessment 2 (Fish eye) A sample with dimensions of 1 m χ 1 m was cut from the laminate for packaging material. The sample was placed on a black table with the sealant layer facing upwards. The number NI of protrusions (crest-like foreign matter) with a diameter of 0.5 mm or more and less than 1 mm was counted by visual inspection as fish eye 1, and the number N2 of protrusions (matter) Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, p. 69 / 85 49 / 57 strange crest-like lesions) with a diameter of 1 mm or more were counted by visual inspection as fish eye 2, and an assessment was made based on the following evaluation criteria. The results are shown in Tables 1 to 3. (Evaluation Criteria) ©: NI is 10 or less and N2 is 0 o; NI is 11 to 99 and N2 is 0 x: NI is 100 or more or N2 is 1 or more

[00092] (3) Assessment 3 (Impurity) The packaging material laminate was analyzed using a Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FT-IR) by an Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) method to obtain an ATR spectrum. At this time, a diamond prism was used as a prism to be placed in contact with the packaging material laminate, and an angle of incidence with respect to the surface of the packaging material laminate was 45°. Therefore, an R3 ratio of a C=O absorption coefficient stretching around 1720 cm⁻¹ derived from polyester and polyurethane to an antisymmetric CH methylene group absorption coefficient stretching around 2915 cm⁻¹ derived from polyethylene in the ATR spectrum was calculated, and an evaluation was performed based on the following evaluation criteria. The results are shown in Tables 1 to 3. (Evaluation criteria) ©: R3 is less than 0.05; R3 is 0.05 or greater and less than 0.1 Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, pages 70 / 85 50 / 57 χ : R3 is 0, 1 or more

[00093] (4) Assessment 4 (Variation of dynamic frictional force) The dynamic frictional force of the laminate for packaging material was measured using a TL201Tt multifunctional dynamic and static friction tester (manufactured by Trinity-Lab Inc.) and a tactile probe. Specifically, the packaging material laminate was placed on a test table with the sealant layer facing upwards, and the standard deviation of the dynamic frictional force was determined by moving a tactile probe at a sliding speed of 10 mm / s while in contact with the packaging material laminate (outer layer substrate side) with a load of 50 grams, and this standard deviation σ of the dynamic frictional force was taken as the variation of the dynamic frictional force. Then, an evaluation was performed based on the following evaluation criteria. The results are shown in Tables 1 to 3. (Evaluation criteria) A: σ is less than 0.35 B: σ is 0.35 or greater and less than 0.45 C: σ is 0.45 or more

[00095] Based on the results shown in Tables 1 to 3, in all laminates for packaging material from Examples 1 to 10 using a chemically recycled resin, even when the recycled resin content was increased to 10% by volume or more or 10% by mass or more, almost no odor component was generated, and there were few foreign materials and impurities. In contrast, in the packaging material laminates of Comparative Examples 1 to 5 using a materially recycled resin, when the recycled resin content was increased to 10% by volume or more or 10% by mass or more, at least one of a factors occurred: an increase in the amount of odor components generated, an increase in the number of fish eyes, or an increase in the amount of impurities.

[00096] Note that, although the Examples above and the Comparative Examples above show examples where the Petition 870250092141, dated 08 / 10 / 2025, pp. 77 / 85 57 / 57 polyolefin resin is polyethylene, even if polypropylene is used as the polyolefin resin, similar results are obtained in terms of odor components, fish eye, impurities, and dynamic frictional force variation due to the similarity in resin structure.

[00097] Based on the above, it has been confirmed that, according to the packaging material laminate described herein, the hygienic properties and quality can be improved even when the recycled resin content is sufficiently high. List of Reference Signs
