Abstract
Description
1 / 5 “CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT APPLIED TO A COLLECTOR DRAIN”
[001] This utility model patent application refers to a novel constructive arrangement applied to a collector drain, whose distinguishing feature is a substantially rectangular monobloc structure, comprising male and female fitting projections, which allow the collector drain to be assembled in various lengths, in a segmented and subsequent manner, both longitudinally and transversely. Thus, this model aims to provide functional improvements in the use and manufacture of collector drains, as well as providing extreme ease of assembly, disassembly, and maintenance.
[002] This model is aimed at the technical sector of civil construction, more particularly, applied in hydraulic engineering in residences or commercial establishments for water collection and drainage. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED
[003] It is known that drains used for water drainage and retention of sewage particles are widely used in civil construction. However, the market offers various models of collector drains that have distinct characteristics. However, most collector drains have the same structural and dimensioning standards, that is, they are extensive and manufactured in one-piece parts, which severely hinders possible repairs and / or maintenance, because if one of its parts breaks and / or is damaged, or the whole thing is necessary, it is necessary to remove it completely due to its extensive and one-piece structure, which demands excessive time and cost. PROPOSED SOLUTION
[004] Given the above, the inventor in question, a scholar and researcher in the field, developed a drain collector, which is composed of a substantially rectangular monobloc structure, comprising male and female fitting projections, which allow the assembly of the drain collector in various extensions, in a segmented and subsequent manner, both longitudinally and transversely. To this end, the monobloc structure of the drain collector has fittings on the sides, as well as on the Petition 870220069908, dated 05 / 08 / 2022, page 5 / 16 2 / 5 front and rear sections allow the drain to be mounted even at a 90° angle. Furthermore, this model can be mounted in a single piece or even extend to 4m or more. CURRENT STATE OF THE ART
[005] However, regarding the perceived drawbacks of the current technique, where linear storm drains are manufactured in one-piece parts, which makes their removal and maintenance extremely difficult, we have, as an example, document MU8000358-3, filed on 23 / 02 / 2000, which describes a drain consisting of a basically cylindrical body with a closed lower end and an open upper end equipped with a square frame or molding, to which the circular grid for retaining larger volume debris is attached; the circular cylindrical body is generally equipped with three lateral cylindrical segments responsible for additional liquid inlets to be directed to the sewer pipe, in addition to a larger diameter segment responsible for the outlet and channeling of all the liquid collected by the drain; The drain model presented here is characterized by having a siphon system that uses an inverted "L"-shaped element with a chamfered upper vertex connected to the outlet. Its innovative and characteristic element is its coupling system with the cylindrical drain body, or more precisely with the outlet, through a simple interlocking system between the elements, with sealing provided by an O-ring located in the circular recess of the upper projection of the inverted L-shaped siphon element.
[006] Document BR202015019635-6, filed on 08 / 14 / 2015, describes a drain with a float, comprising a body, a drain disc, and a finishing ring, further comprising an upper float, a lower float, and a drain pipe, wherein the upper float is equipped with a set of drain holes arranged circularly around its center and spaced from this center, a rounded edge, an upper outer annular wall, an intermediate annular wall, an inclined surface, a stabilizing annular wall, another rounded edge, and a lower outer annular wall. The lower float is equipped with an upper disc, a Petition 870220069908, dated 05 / 08 / 2022, p. 6 / 16 3 / 5 rounded edge, an inclined annular wall, a stabilizing annular wall, guide teeth, a straight annular wall and a support annular wall, against which the lower outer annular wall of the upper buoy rests when it is fitting into the lower buoy.
[007] However, the prior art mentioned above is a drain with structures distinct from the present model, given that the present model comprises projections of male and female fittings, which allow the assembly of the collector drain in various extensions, in a segmented and subsequent manner, in both the longitudinal and transverse directions. ADVANTAGES OF THE MODEL
[008] The present model offers advantages related to being a collector drain comprised of male and female type fitting projections, which allow the subsequent fitting and installation of the collector drain in both longitudinal and transverse directions. Thus, the structure proposed in this model, in addition to facilitating the installation of the collector drain, also facilitates the individual removal of broken / damaged collector drains. Furthermore, the structure allows for individual maintenance of each collector drain, which reduces labor costs, time, and manufacturing costs, as well as improving and facilitating maintenance. DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[009] To aid understanding, the following figures are attached: Fig. 1: shows a perspective view of the constructive arrangement applied to a collector drain; Fig. 2: shows an inverted perspective view of the constructive arrangement applied to a collector drain; Fig. 3: shows a bottom perspective view of the construction arrangement applied to a drain collector; Fig. 4: shows a perspective view of the constructive arrangement applied to a collector drain, showing the assembly of the collector drain in the longitudinal direction; Fig. 5: shows a perspective view of the constructive arrangement applied to a drain collector, showing the assembly of the drain collector in the longitudinal and transverse directions. DETAILED DESCRIPTION Petition 870220069908, dated 05 / 08 / 2022, page 7 / 16 4 / 5
[010] The “CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT APPLIED TO A COLLECTOR DRAIN” consists of a collector drain (1) composed of a substantially rectangular monobloc structure (2) (3), comprising a front contour flap (4), which is interconnected to a left “L” flap (5) and a right “L” flap (6), the interconnection between these elements creating a front recess (7). However, the left “L” flap (5) and the right “L” flap (6) are interconnected by means of a rear contour flap (8), which extends to the beginning of the left “L” flap (5) and the right “L” flap (6). In this way, the rear contour flap (8) is located on a step above the front contour edge (4) that forms the front recess (7), so that this unevenness is intentionally designed in the monobloc structure (2) of the collector drain (1), the present model.
[011] Next, the substantially rectangular monobloc structure (2) of the collector drain (1) has a front wall (9) composed of a cylindrical cavity (10), also having equidistant front recesses (11). The monobloc structure (2) also has a left side wall (12) and a right side wall (13) interconnected to the front wall (9), such that the left side wall (12) has a recess (14) from which extends a cylindrical cavity (15), also comprising two rectangular projections (16) in the form of plates (17). Similarly, the right side wall (13) comprises a recess (18) from which extends a cylindrical cavity (19), and at least two rectangular projections (20) in the form of plates (21).
[012] The left side wall (12), the right side wall (13) are also connected to a rear wall (22) provided with a cylindrical cavity (23) and two rectangular projections (24) in the form of plates (25) and, to a lower wall (26) provided with a cylindrical cavity (27).
[013] Assembly and use: the monobloc structure (2) of the collector drain (1) can be assembled in segmented and profiled ways, both longitudinally and transversely, as shown in Figs. 4 and 5, from the moment the cylindrical cavity (10) of the front wall (9) fits into the cylindrical cavity (23) of the rear wall (22), while simultaneously the rear contour flange (8) fits into the front contour flange (4), as well as the rectangular projections Petition 870220069908, dated 05 / 08 / 2022, page 8 / 16 5 / 5 (24) in the form of plates (25) of the back wall (22), which enter and fit into the front recesses (11) equidistant from the front wall (9), promoting the perfect fit between two collector drains (1) in the longitudinal direction, and can also be mounted in a single piece or even reach an extension of 4m and / or more.
[014] However, in another embodiment, the present model can be assembled in the longitudinal and transverse direction, in a segmented manner, that is, the right side wall (13) comprises a recess (18) from which extends a cylindrical cavity (19), the cylindrical cavity (23) of the rear wall (22) can be fitted into the cylindrical cavity (10) of the front wall (9), and, simultaneously, the rectangular projections (20) in the form of plates (21) enter and fit into the front recesses (11) equidistant from the front wall (9).
