Description

1 / 7 “TOY TRUCK” FIELD OF APPLICATION

[001] This utility model patent application depicts a toy truck belonging to the field of toys intended for children. PREAMBLE

[002] Describes a toy truck with a design solution that makes the assembly and movement of its parts simple and efficient. The truck proposed here was designed to be used as a vehicle on which the child sits and moves it with their feet, similar to a walker, and also in a second way in which the child can play without sitting on the toy truck's seat. STATE OF THE ART

[003] The state of the art has a wide range of toys inspired by trucks, tractors and the like, some of which are representative of real vehicles, such as earthmoving vehicles, mining vehicles, police vehicles, etc., which are designed to offer playful experiences to children.

[004] State-of-the-art toys have models designed exclusively to be operated by children, and also models that do not offer this option. PROBLEMS OF THE STATE OF THE ART

[005] Most toys that constitute the state of the art are limited in their concept of use by the child to only one of two forms of use, the first in which the child only Petition 870250004613, dated 01 / 21 / 2025, page 5 / 28 2 / 7 handles the toy and the second is where the child can sit on or get into the vehicle to drive it. OBJECTIVES

[006] In view of the state of the art reported, the design solution proposed in this Utility Model patent application was developed, which concerns a toy truck, on which the child can sit to drive the vehicle and also operate the dump truck by means of a lever that tilts said dump truck. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INNOVATION

[007] The utility model now proposed concerns a toy truck, which is defined as consisting of a chassis that receives a front panel, radiator and headlights; steering wheel, steering column, front axle, wheels / tires and hubcaps; seat, lever, bucket operating arm, bucket and connecting pins of the bucket operating system; rear axle and respective wheels / tires and hubcaps.

[008] The chassis receives the bucket operating lever by fitting into two C-shaped laminar projections, which is connected to the bucket operating arm and this to the two sets of parallel laminar flaps by means of connecting pins, this assembly being responsible for operating the bucket.

[009] Thus, by pushing the lever towards the front of the vehicle, the tipper is activated to tilt, while to bring the tipper back to the retracted position the lever must be pulled back. DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

[010] The toy truck now proposed is best described with reference to the following drawings. Petition 870250004613, dated 01 / 21 / 2025, page 6 / 28 3 / 7 related, in which: • Figure 1 illustrates a front perspective view of the toy truck; • Figure 2 shows a front perspective and exploded view of the toy truck, demonstrating in detail the fitting of the parts and the drive mechanism of the dump truck bed; • Figure 3 shows an exploded left side view of the toy truck; • Figure 4 illustrates the exploded bottom view of the toy truck; • Figure 5 illustrates a rear perspective and exploded view of the toy truck, demonstrating in detail the attachments of the lever to the chassis and the bucket to the rear axle; • Figure 6 shows a bottom perspective and exploded view of the toy truck demonstrating the fittings of the dump truck drive assembly; • Figure 7 shows a perspective view of the bucket drive assembly in the retracted position; • Figure 8 illustrates the side view of the bucket drive assembly in the retracted position; • Figure 9 shows a perspective view of the bucket drive assembly in the tilted position; and • Figure 10 illustrates the side view of the bucket drive assembly in the tilted position. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INNOVATION

[012] As illustrated by the figures above, the toy truck (1) object of this Utility Model patent application, consists of a chassis (2) that receives a front panel (3), radiator (4) and headlights (5); instrument panel (36), steering wheel (6), steering column (7), front axle (8) and respective wheels / tires (9) and hubcaps (10); seat (11), lever (12), bucket actuation arm (13), bucket (14) and connecting pins (15) of the bucket actuation assembly; rear axle (16) and respective wheels / tires (9) and hubcaps (10).

[013] The chassis (2) receives the front panel (3) and the radiator (4) by fitting into its front portion (18), both fixed to the chassis (2) by means of wedge-shaped projections (19) equipped with retaining steps fitted into fitting holes (20).

[014] Additionally, the front panel (3) receives the headlights (5) attachment, fixed by interference between the cylindrical projections (21) and the circular holes (22) arranged in the front panel (3).

[015] The bucket drive assembly consists of the lever (12), bucket drive arm (13) and connecting pins (15).

[016] The lever (12), for operating the bucket (14), has a grip area in its upper region. Petition 870250004613, dated 01 / 21 / 2025, page 9 / 28 6 / 7 (28), anatomically shaped, suitable for operation by children's hands. In the middle portion of the lever (12) there are tubular projections (23) on both sides of the lever (12), intended to fit into the laminar projections (17) in the shape of a “C”, arranged on the right side of the chassis (2), which serve as support and pivot axis of the lever (12) and the lower portion of the lever (12) has a tubular hole (35) that is intended to be connected to the front portion of the bucket actuation arm (13) by means of a connecting pin (15).

[017] The bucket actuation arm (13) is preferably formed by thermoplastic injection molding, consisting of a front portion (24) provided with tubular segments (25), followed by a trapezoidal portion (26) and a rectangular rear portion provided with two projections provided with tubular sectors (27) intended for connection by means of connecting pins (15) with the bucket (14). The bucket actuation arm (13) has laminar bracing tabs (34) that constitute structural reinforcement and provide stability to the part.

[018] The bucket (14) has in the lower portion of the base (29) two trapezoidal laminar flaps (30) provided with circular holes (31), which are intended for fitting onto the rear axle (16), which is the pivot point of the bucket (14) articulation.

[019] The bucket (14) also has, in its lower portion of the base (29), two sets of parallel laminar flaps (32) equipped with circular holes (33), intended to receive, by fitting, through connecting pins (15), the two projections provided with tubular sectors (27) present in the Petition 870250004613, dated 01 / 21 / 2025, page 10 / 28 7 / 7 rear portion of the bucket drive arm (13).

[020] Thus, the bucket drive assembly, when the lever (12) is positioned backward, keeps the bucket (14) in a resting position, while when pushing the lever (12) towards the front of the vehicle, the bucket drive arm (13) is moved backward and causes the bucket (14) to rotate in relation to the rear axle (16), with the bucket (14) tilting to unload the material contained in the bucket (14) of the toy truck (1).

[021] To return the bucket to the retracted resting position, the lever (12) must be pulled back. Petition 870250004613, dated 01 / 21 / 2025, p. 11 / 28
