[001] Indeed, the present utility model application aims at a peculiar type of constructive arrangement applied to a portable barbecue grill.

[002] In general, the present utility model application relates to the technological sector of appliances, utensils and containers for cooking, particularly a device for preparing food by means of charcoal heating.

[003] Specifically, the present utility model application aims at a peculiar type of constructive arrangement applied to a portable barbecue grill with a movable and rotating grill, carefully and meticulously designed with the intention of presenting a new and simplified design, having a clear objective for the end user.

[004] This new construction allows for greater ease, practicality and efficiency, because, with the sides closed and a movable food tray that closes the top, the heat is concentrated inside the grill, increasing cooking efficiency and saving on the heat source (charcoal).

[005] Regarding the use of grills, the conventional mobile grill has a fixed distance from the heat source, allowing food to be prepared in a standardized way. On the other hand, with the electrically powered rotating grill, the user can use wooden or metal skewers with just one motor (which is NOT part of this Utility Model Patent application), being able to prepare up to 12 skewers simultaneously, which makes the device economical in energy consumption. [006] Portable grills with a skewer option have been around for a long time, some models equipped with a rotating mechanism and others not. They are very popular in street food, as they offer small pieces of meat. [007] In a search of the state of the art, we identified some documents related to portable rotisserie grills, of which we highlight the following documents:

[008] With regard to patent references, we can cite document BR202015001472-0 filed on 01 / 22 / 2015 by DAL PONT, which describes a portable barbecue grill for skewers that, according to its characteristics, provides the formation of a portable barbecue grill (1) in its own specific electromechanical structure intended for roasting skewers (A) and based on a combustion chamber (2), a double fuel burning device - charcoal and gas, and a skewer roasting device (5), with a view to enabling in an extremely practical, safe and ergonomic way a complete optimization in the procedures of roasting skewers (A) of the type meat, chicken and sausage among others, combined with the complete mobility of the assembly.

[009] In this case, there is a cylindrical-shaped grill arranged vertically, with two parallel wheels with hooks where the skewers are fitted, rotating from a single central gear connected to a motor. The heat source, charcoal or firewood, is located at the bottom of the grill, so that the vertical wheels, when rotating, bring the skewers closer to and further away from the fire. A hinged lid protects the assembly and prevents heat dissipation.

[0010] Document BR202015 016868-9 filed on 7 / 14 / 2015 by ZANETTI, entitled “Portable Rotating Device for Skewers, Skewers and Similar Items, to be Applied to Barbecues” describes a portable and universal module, with automatic rotating devices, that can be applied to any model of barbecue or heat source, allowing the fixing and support of metal skewers, disposable wooden or bamboo skewers, and can even support grills and other utensils used to roast meats and various foods prepared using the barbecue. [0011] This document therefore essentially describes a rotating device for skewers, to be attached to conventional barbecues, adapted to skewers arranged horizontally, as well as all other barbecues known in the art.

[0012] Another known document is BR102018 076863-8 filed on 12 / 21 / 2018 by ZANETTI, titled “Suitcase-Barbecue Grill,” which describes a barbecue grill consisting of a suitcase, specifically formed by two parts: the lower part, which is the suitcase box where the leveling feet and handles are attached, where the brazier holder fits, resting on the edge of the box, keeping the ember area suspended and preventing damage to the outside of the suitcase box; and the upper part, which consists of an innovative lid without hinges, with two side flaps that fit inside the suitcase box, covering the brazier holder and the box at the same time, with a lock and key; when opened, it has a click that locks the lid in the correct place, serving as protection against winds, maintaining greater heat efficiency, saving charcoal, and serving as a support for attaching rotating devices, Argentine grill, and accessories.The skewers are arranged in one part of the case and have a rotating mechanism. A grid is attached to the other part.

[0015] The components of the devices defined as structure (1) are formed by five items, namely right side (1A), left side (1B), front (1C), bottom (1D) and rear (1E). The entire fastening system of the structures (1) can be made by means of screws, rivets or welding, and are produced in metallic material.

[0016] To facilitate movement we have the set of handles (2) which are used a total of four times, consisting of a plate at each end (2A) with wood to prevent heating in the center (2B) and fixed by screws (2C) on both sides.

The items are assembled using screws, and the user can easily loosen only one butterfly screw (7G), which, when removed, allows the assembled grill to be taken out for cleaning or to adjust the size of the skewer. It is also assembled using butterfly nuts (7H), both in a practical and ergonomic way without the need for any tools, allowing the user to adapt their grill to the available skewer.The system is capable of holding 12 skewers simultaneously, with the axis rotating both clockwise and counter-clockwise. This allows the skewers to rotate freely, ensuring the user doesn't need to manually turn them and that the skewers cook evenly when using charcoal at ideal temperatures. [0022] This new constructive arrangement (8) is assembled to the end user, including four rubber feet (8A), inside a reinforced box (8B) and dimensions 72x32x40 centimeters (LxHxW), where it was designed to be transported inside the car / trunk of most automobiles, making it portable or any other type of locomotion viable.

[0023] In general, the parts are produced using technological machines such as laser cutting, bending machines, among others, which makes it a device that is entirely feasible for industrial and large-scale production with excellent cost and short production time, making it viable for the end customer.

Claims

1. PORTABLE CHARCOAL GRILL WITH ROTATING ELECTRIC SYSTEM, characterized by its assembly format (Fig. 5), includes rubber feet (Fig. 15), heating system via movable base (Fig. 12), automatic grill assembly (Fig. 14), movable grill (Fig. 11), set of handles (Fig. 9), upper tray with lid (Fig. 10) and the arrangement of the electrical / electronic system (Fig. 13).

2. PORTABLE CHARCOAL GRILL WITH ROTATING ELECTRIC SYSTEM, characterized according to claim 1, by the fact that the structural assembly (Fig. 8) is closed on the sides, increasing the performance and ergonomic efficiency for handling. The structure can preferably be fixed with screws or welding, having a movable heating base (Fig. 12) with special handles and four screws that prevent the wood from shifting and allow the user to use only one hand for handling.

3. PORTABLE CHARCOAL GRILL WITH ELECTRIC ROTATING SYSTEM, characterized according to claims 1 and 2, in that the automatic grill assembly (Fig. 14) has a differentiated construction and offers length adjustment for the skewers through items (7G and 7E). The inclination can be adjusted by item (7A), which prevents the skewers from sliding off the grill.

4. PORTABLE CHARCOAL GRILL WITH ROTATING ELECTRIC SYSTEM, characterized according to claims 1, 2 and 3, by the arrangement of the devices (Fig. 13) guarantees user safety thanks to the casing (6G) and offers ease of connecting the power through the components (6E, 6G).
