It consists of a board fixed to a steel chassis, increasing its resistance. This assembly is held in place by a set of tension springs at each end, which can be removed and replaced as needed, up to a limit of 8 springs. Thus, the board is suspended, allowing for smooth rotational movements on its axes and rocking movements forward / backward and sideways. This is an evolutionary solution, the practical results of which indicate a differentiated and effective condition of construction and use. STATE OF THE ART 003 With the sole and exclusive purpose of providing Petition 870250012243, dated 02 / 14 / 2025, page 6 / 20 2 / 8 In accordance with the preamble of this description, the applicant will now provide, in the following paragraphs, a brief but consistent explanation of the state of the art regarding the problems and drawbacks of current surf simulator or balance training equipment, where a person skilled in the art will be able to recognize its shortcomings, and subsequently clearly identify in the invention now claimed the requirement of inventive activity, mandatory under the Industrial Property Law. 004 Surfing is a sport practiced on the surface (its name comes from the English word "surface") of the water. Basically, it consists of gliding across ocean waves on a board. Surfing originated in Polynesia, a group of islands in the Pacific. It is believed that the sport arose when fishermen realized that using a wooden board made it easier to reach the shore. 005 In 1778, the English navigator James Cook arrived in the Hawaiian archipelago and brought the idea of the sport to Europe. In the 1950s, surfing gained great popularity in the United States, especially in the state of California, becoming a part of its culture. From the 1970s and 80s onwards, professional championships began. 006 The main equipment in surfing is the surfboard, which can come in various sizes and shapes. A good surfboard is essential for good performance in the sport. It is recommended that beginners opt for larger boards, known as longboards. In addition to being a sport that provides intense contact with nature, surfing works Petition 870250012243, dated 02 / 14 / 2025, page 7 / 20 3 / 8 of the exercise involves all muscle groups and develops the individual's motor coordination. Currently, there are several surf schools for learning to surf, and there are no age limits for learning. It's a fact that the main requirement for surfing is balance on the board. 008 This balance is currently achieved after much practice; however, to facilitate learning and the attainment of balance, before moving on to practical lessons in the water, they undergo theoretical lessons with simulations on a surfboard placed on the sand. Notably, the fact that the board is static only teaches positioning on it, not providing the student with the conditions of movement they find in the sea. 009 The state of the art reveals Brazilian patent PI 1101221-8, entitled EQUIPMENT FOR SIMULATING MOVEMENTS PERFORMED IN SURFING PRACTICE, owned by Francis França Apratto, published on 05 / 21 / 2013, which describes a mechanically designed equipment, with a specific constructive arrangement to simulate movements and situations characteristic of surfing practice, such as the movements known as paddling and 'kneeling', comprising a platform (1) similar to a surfboard connected to an articulation mechanism and positioned on a base (2), with a front arm (9) also fixed to the base (2), where a monitor (10) is positioned, and the articulation mechanism consists of a set of articulation bars (3) whose lower ends are positioned on guide rails (4) Petition 870250012243, dated 02 / 14 / 2025, page 8 / 20 4 / 8 arranged on said base (2) and the upper ends of each of the articulation bars (3) being connected to the platform (1) by a connection means that simulates the instability of the board, in this case the platform (1); contains a loading system (7) positioned on the base (2) of the equipment; with a cable (8) for user handling. This equipment has a constructive arrangement totally different from that proposed in the patent application in question, being basically three support points without flexibility, only with articulations. 010 The state of the art also reveals the Brazilian patent BR 10 2012 003015-2, entitled SURFING AND BALANCE PRACTICE SIMULATOR APPARATUS, owned by Jose Carlos Piccinelli Malucelli Junior, published on 01 / 27 / 2015, which describes a device of simplified construction that allows simulating the activity of surfing sea waves, as well as the practice of balance, strengthening muscles and mind, comprising a board (1) fixed to a support (6), which is attached to a spring (7), whose opposite, lower end is attached to the lower support (8) which can be fixed to a base (9), allowing mobility to the device or directly to the floor, fixing the device. One variant comprises a bearing (10) interposed between the board (1) and the spring (7), fixed in the support (6), 10 concentric and integral with the shaft (12), providing free rotation of the board (1) in relation to the spring (7).This system also has a completely different constructive arrangement from that proposed in the patent application in question, consisting of a plank supported on a spring, which in turn is supported on a lower base. 011 In view of the foregoing in the fundamentals of the technique, Petition 870250012243, dated 02 / 14 / 2025, page 9 / 20 5 / 8 Over time and with the accumulation of experience, the facts pointed towards the construction of unprecedented improvements in surf simulator and balance training equipment, presenting several advantages over existing models, being quite practical and efficient, where its unique construction eliminates the negative aspects known in the state of the art, which is presented in this patent.
