Description
1 / 6 Construction arrangement applied to a protector for ice cream and açaí treats. FIELD OF APPLICATION
[001] This descriptive report concerns the utility model patent for a new protector, specifically a protector for ice cream and açaí treats, with a new applied constructive arrangement, of innovative design and endowed with important technological and functional improvements, according to the most modern hygiene concepts and in accordance with the required standards and specifications, possessing its own characteristics and endowed with fundamental requirements of novelty and inventive step, resulting in a series of real and extraordinary technical, practical and economic advantages. BACKGROUND OF THE PRESENT MODEL
[002] There are currently on the market, especially in ice cream parlors, various models of refrigerated or non-refrigerated display cases for storing ice cream and açaí toppings. However, as is known to experts in the field, these display cases, lacking any protection, completely expose the toppings that customers, after serving themselves ice cream and açaí in bulk, collect as they choose to eat along with the ice cream or açaí. This method is extremely unhygienic, as it exposes the toppings to insects and droplets from coughs / sneezes / speech of the customers themselves.
[003] In this sense, some inventors conceived the products that are the subject of the patent documents indicated below, but they did not pay attention to the details mentioned above. STATE OF THE ART
[004] Patent document BR 20 2023 009294 8 published on 11 / 26 / 2024 teaches a constructive arrangement introduced in a counter Petition 870250013993, dated 20 / 02 / 2025, page 6 / 19 2 / 6 refrigerated display case comprising an evaporator configured with four finned tubes, also having a modular structure, which includes a rectangular lower base, an intermediate base and an upper base to accommodate fans. Furthermore, the evaporator, configured with four finned tubes, is installed in the upper inner part of a 2.5 m refrigerated display counter, and can use 150 g of propane gas as refrigerant, which gives it a highly energy-efficient performance, in addition to providing convenience, practicality and improved usability compared to conventional evaporators of the prior art. The present model is intended for application in supermarkets, bakeries, butcher shops, and other establishments that need to preserve perishable foods at low temperatures.
[005] Patent document BR 11 2018 072048 8 published on 12 / 02 / 2019 teaches an open display refrigerator, kit and method of modifying an open display refrigerator comprising a refrigerated interior space, air in the refrigerated interior space being separated from the air outside the open display refrigerator by an air curtain established by a fan that blows air through an air outlet towards a corresponding air inlet that recovers air from the air curtain for recirculation to the air outlet. A region distant from the air outlet is obstructed to leave only a region of the air outlet near the interior space open, and an air curtain guide is aligned in a direction of airflow of the air curtain with an edge of the sealing plate near the interior space. Alternatively, a region near the air outlet is obstructed to leave only a region of the air outlet distant from the interior space open, an air curtain guide aligned in a Petition 870250013993, dated 20 / 02 / 2025, p. 7 / 19 3 / 6 airflow direction of the air curtain with an edge of the air outlet away from the interior space. In this alternative, a shelf in the refrigerator is arranged in such a way that a gap between an edge of the shelf adjacent to the air curtain guide and the air curtain guide is less than a predetermined threshold.
[006] Patent document BR 10 2012 026618 0 published on 02 / 09 / 2014 teaches a food display kiosk where, more precisely, the kiosk is of the modular type, having a structure assembled with counters or workbenches freely accessible to the consumer; the kiosk includes a system for blowing refrigerated air in the form of a mist that surrounds and circulates through all the counters and workbenches of the kiosk, thus covering all the products / food displayed there; said blowing system is embedded in the structure that makes up the kiosk and includes a lower metal plate provided with multiple slits, which acts as a protective screen against dirt, since through said slits the ambient air is captured to a region, already inside the structure of the kiosk, and conducted, by aspiration through an opening, to an air conditioning unit;Refrigerated air is blown into the interior of the kiosk structure through a duct to a refrigeration chamber formed by a lower wall, an upper wall, and side walls, which have windows; on the outside of the walls, countertops or display counters are mounted for displaying products and work in conjunction with panels arranged parallel to the walls and spaced in such a way as to form a refrigerated air distribution chamber.
[007] Analyzing the aforementioned and known state-of-the-art documents, as can be observed, none fully presents the constructive characteristics of the protector for Petition 870250013993, dated 20 / 02 / 2025, page 8 / 19 4 / 6 ice cream and açaí treats, the subject of this patent.
[008] In view of this, over time studies have been carried out to eliminate all these problems and inconveniences and, as a result, this protector was developed which makes possible the design of a new way to protect ice cream and açaí treats, which were previously at the mercy of insects and even, possibly, droplets from sneezes and coughs from the users themselves, thus obtaining an integrated product with real possibilities of economical industrialization, minimizing costs, assembly time and labor expenses, in addition to a precise assembly effect, with better results and a high standard of safety.
[009] Therefore, this utility model patent aims to provide a device that keeps ice cream and açaí treats stored on the counter protected from insects and droplets from sneezing, coughing and talking by the users themselves.
[010] Another objective achieved by the candy dispenser of the present patent is achieved insofar as it is provided with LED strips that allow users a better view for choosing the candies.
[011] These and other objectives are achieved with a design comprising a protector for ice cream and açaí treats composed of translucent rectangular plastic plates on the top, front and back, with the sides composed of trapezoidal shaped screens, all preferably joined with metal corner pieces, with the top provided with sliding plates with handles, and internally provided with LED strips, said protector being suitable for any existing treat display case on the market. Petition 870250013993, dated 20 / 02 / 2025, page 9 / 19 5 / 6 BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
[012] To complement the present description, in order to obtain a better understanding of the characteristics of the present patent, and in accordance with a preferred practical embodiment thereof, attached drawings are included, where, by way of example but not limitation, the following is represented: Figure 1 represents a perspective view of the protector that is the subject of this patent. Figure 2 represents a perspective view of the protector that is the subject of this patent. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE UTILITY MODEL
[013] According to the aforementioned figures, and in their details, the present patent consists of a protector for ice cream and açaí treats composed in the upper (1), front (2) and rear (3) parts of translucent rectangular plates of plastic material, the sides (4) being composed of trapezoidal shaped screens, all preferably joined with metal corner pieces (5), with the upper part provided with sliding plates (1) with handles (6), and internally provided with LED strips (7), said protector being adaptable to any existing treat display case (8) on the market.
[014] There is no known protector that fully combines all the constructive and functional characteristics described above, and that directly or indirectly is or has been as effective as the candy protector that is the subject of this patent.
[015] It will be evident to those familiar with the subject that while the preferred embodiment of the constructive arrangement introduced in this object is described, any modifications and / or alterations should be understood as falling within the scope of the utility model patent, fitting perfectly within the criteria that the Petition 870250013993, dated 20 / 02 / 2025, page 10 / 19 6 / 6 define, that is, the combination and modification of already known elements into a new form or arrangement, involving an inventive act, resulting in functional improvement in their use or manufacture.
