Abstract

The present invention relates to flat covers for carding machines and provides a flat cover for the carding machine. The flat cover comprises a carding attachment, which in turn comprises a carding base and a plurality of wire clamps provided on the carding base. The wire clamps are arranged offset from one another to define a plurality of offset airflow channels between them, each offset airflow channel consisting of a plurality of airflow paths arranged at a predetermined angle (X, Y, Z) to one another.
