Method and device for regenerating a particulate filter

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for regenerating a particulate filter (100), the said method comprising at least the following steps: – preparing the particulate filter (100) inside a regeneration apparatus (10); – preparing an aqueous solution of a regenerating product comprising sodium trioxide silicate; and – feeding the particulate filter (100) with the aqueous solution of the regenerating product for a time sufficient to remove the encrustations present inside the particulate filter.
