Abstract

A frost-proof outlet fitting (1) comprises an inner housing (40) with a receptacle, an outer housing (10) with a distal tubular section, a shut-off mechanism (30) housed in the tubular section, a proximal outlet connected to the tubular section by means of a medium conductor, a proximal actuating element (35) for actuating the shut-off mechanism (30), a mounting element (50) for attachment to a wall surface, and an insulating housing (70). The tubular section of the outer housing (10) can be inserted into the receptacle of the inner housing (40) such that an interior space of the tubular section is sealedly connected to an interior space of the receptacle. The inner housing (40) is thermally connected to the mounting element (50), and the insulating housing (70) encloses the inner housing (40).The outer casing (10) extends into the wall with its tube-like section and only there makes contact with the insertion recess of the inner casing (40). The thermal connection of the inner casing (40) and the insulating housing (70) ensure frost protection for those areas that remain filled with the conveyed medium even when the system is shut off. The insertion mechanism of the outer casing (10) allows for flexibility regarding the distance between the outlet and the position of the inner casing (40).
