NATURAL CHEWING GUM WITH NICOTINE AND METHOD FOR ITS MANUFACTURE

Abstract

The invention relates to a natural nicotine chewing gum (20) comprising a natural gum base (30) and the active ingredient nicotine (34, 38). The natural gum base (30) contains components or ingredients such as a chicle-based gum base with gum arabic or acacia, which is mixed with nicotine (34, 38) in specific quantities under the influence of heat. The natural nicotine chewing gum (20) is configured to release nicotine for up to 30 minutes during oral use, with a rapid release occurring during the first 5 minutes. The natural gum base (30) is provided with a glaze layer (40) containing flavorings (42) such as mint or strawberry, as well as flavor enhancers with natural ingredients (44) such as xylitol, stevia, glycerin, beetroot powder, or spirulina, or a combination thereof.A process for producing natural chewing gum with nicotine (20) is disclosed, comprising the production of chewing gum base portions with nicotine, the addition of nicotine, the production of the glaze mixture, a glazing (400) and the subsequent packaging.
