Abstract

The present application relates to a floor covering element (1) with a structure consisting of several layers firmly bonded together. The floor covering element (1) comprises a base layer (6) made of polyethylene terephthalate, which is bonded to a composite element layer (2). The composite element layer (2) has a decorative layer (4) made of polyethylene terephthalate and a wear layer (3) made of polyethylene terephthalate, which are bonded together. The present application further relates to a method for producing such a floor covering element (1).
