Cable Clamps

Abstract

This cable clamp is used for bundling and clamping charging cables, power cords, strings, ropes, hoses, strands of wool, welding wires, wire bundles, tubes, or drinking straws. It consists of two clamp arms (3, 4) connected by a hinge (2) and curved towards each other, which can pivot into one another. At least one pull cord (5, 6) or at least one tension spring between the two clamp arms (3, 4) is arranged such that the opening and closing of the clamp arms (3, 4) occurs via a dead center. This ensures that the clamp arms (3, 4) are held in their respective positions with clamping force beyond the dead center, both in the open and in the pivoted position, thus enclosing an inserted bundle.
