The disclosure relates to a repair device (100) for repairing a hole in a net of a net pen on or within water. The repair device (100) comprises a movable or fixed counterweight arranged to pass through the net from the direction of patch application; the counterweight is arranged to provide support when a patch (110) is applied to the hole.
