Abstract
A frame for a photovoltaic module may include: a base portion with an outer flange and a lower surface, which also defines an opening configured to accommodate a first mounting element; at least one leg extending from the base portion; and a panel support portion extending from the at least one leg and configured to secure a solar panel thereto. The outer flange and the at least one leg may define a cavity.
