Abstract

An energy storage node of a system and method for handling transport force loads includes a plurality of battery holders. Each battery holder includes a plurality of slots to support a battery string, at least one pair of rear crossbars located at the rear of the slots to reduce outward bending force along the width of the holders, at least one pair of side crossbars to reduce outward bending force along the depth of the holders, a plurality of hollow vertical bars, at least one front connection plate disposed on the front of the battery holders to connect at least two of the hollow vertical bars, and at least one rear connection plate on the rear of the holders to connect the plurality of battery holders to a rear assembly of the rear crossbar pair.
