Abstract

An energy storage system includes a plurality of energy storage nodes, each comprising an energy storage element, at least one cold plate, and a coolant collector coupled to the at least one cold plate. The coolant collector splits the coolant flow in a bidirectional configuration at the front and inside of the cold plate. A method for assembling an energy storage cooling system is also provided.
