Abstract
This paper relates to a process for preparing enantiomerically enriched cyclobutylamines of formula (I) from alpha-tertiary cyclobutanones and reacting the enantiomerically enriched cyclobutylamines to enantiomerically enriched cyclobutylamides. Such compounds are useful intermediates in the synthesis of microbiocidal thiazole compounds.
