A method, kit, and device (2) for debriding and / or cleaning a wound, sore, or ulcer are disclosed, the device (2) comprising a first part (4) comprising an antiseptic composition; a second part (6) comprising a water-absorbing material and thus functioning as a water reservoir; an upper surface (8), wherein the upper surface is abrasive; and a water-permeable lower surface (10), wherein the first part (4) and the second part (6) are separated from each other by a water-impermeable primary membrane (28).
