Abstract

A wear component assembly may include a front stabilizer fixed to a front end of a material handling tool flange, wherein the front stabilizer includes inward-facing stirrup surfaces to engage with respective outward-facing stirrup surfaces formed on an adapter. A wear component assembly may also include a rear stabilizer fixed to a rear adjustment pad of a material handling tool flange, wherein the rear stabilizer includes inward-facing stirrup surfaces to engage with respective outward-facing stirrup surfaces formed on a leg of an adapter.A wear component assembly may include a fastener bracket attached to one side of a material handling tool flange at a front end of a fastener opening, and a fastener assembly extending through the fastener opening to thereby secure an adapter to the material handling tool flange.
