Abstract

This invention relates to compositions and methods for modifying TFL1 genes in black raspberry plants to eliminate or reduce dependence on environmental triggers for flowering, optionally producing plants with enhanced characteristics for breeding and production, including a reduced time to flowering onset, a longer flowering duration, and / or improved yield characteristics. The invention further relates to black raspberry plants produced using the methods and compositions of the invention.
