Abstract
The present invention relates to a variant of NLRP3 comprising at least a partial deletion of PYD. The present invention further relates to a method for screening a compound that inhibits the NLRP3 inflammasome. The present invention further provides a method comprising the step of administering a compound identified by said screening method to a subject with an NLRP3-associated inflammatory disorder.
