Abstract

A PTAC-type heat pump (1; 101) includes a first heat exchanger coil (10) and a second heat exchanger coil (30), the first coil (10) being provided for exchanging heat with an external environment relative to the environment to be processed, and comprising a fan (20) connected to the first coil (10) for forced circulation of external air through the first coil (10). The first coil (10) comprises at least two and preferably three contiguous parts (12, 13, 14), which are a central part (13) and at least one side part (12, 14), respectively, both of which are flat, the at least one side part (12, 14) forming an angle with respect to the central part (13) with an intrados angle preferably between 150° and 175°.
