Abstract

The present invention provides a drinkable article prepared from an alcoholic beverage comprising 0.045% ethanol by volume or less, wherein the drinkable article is characterized by having an amount of naturally occurring volatile organic compounds (VOCs); and wherein the amount of naturally occurring VOCs comprises a plurality of naturally occurring aromatic compounds; and wherein the MeOH content in the drinkable article is at least one of: a. below the detection level, when measured by Procedure A; b. less than 0.01% by volume; and wherein the ratio of EtAc to the amount of naturally occurring VOCs in the drinkable article is between 1:0.2 and 1:300, when measured according to Procedure B.
