Circular permutants, compositions comprising them, and methods of their use.

Abstract

This document describes circular permutants, along with compositions and systems comprising circular permutants. It also describes fusion proteins incorporating a circular permutant, such as fusion proteins incorporating a circular permutant fused to a polypeptide of interest (e.g., a deaminase or reverse transcriptase). Furthermore, this document describes methods for using and / or producing a circular permutant, such as methods for using a circular permutant to modify or edit a target nucleic acid.
